1-we been OVER this...nash's first MVP was during Kobe and the LAkers going 34-48  - nobody is calling Kobe an MVP on a non playoff team

2-Nash improved that second year AND beat Kobe in the playoffs...he earned that shit

It don't matter how u try to slice it, Kobe was the most valuable player in the league, Nash simply had a better team

There was always an unwritten rule in a MVP race saying, that your team had to have atleast around 50 wins for you to be considered a legitimate candidate for the award - Kobe was the best 1-on-1 player in the NBA and most skilled one durning that period of time, but his team wasen't that quite good.

Similar to Jordan's 37.1 ppg season - he was tearing the scoring records down, but Bulls were only 42-40 that season, that's why he didn't get the award that year. Same with Kobe - individual accomplishments didn't help the team reach greater level, that's why Nash got the award.
