Was there ever any Xzibit features during the detox leaks era? been playing my leaks compilation and don't think I have one Xzibit verse on there. Maybe he was busy with the acting thing and not really on the music scene.

Now that you mention it, I can't think of any. I mean, he did the chorus on Bishop Lamont's Hallelujah which was produced by Dre, which would have been around the same time period, but nothing else that I could locate. X did have a falling out with Eminem around that time, so that might have played a part.

He’s wearing a t shirt with Eminem’s face on it in his new video so it probably wasn’t that serious

Or they eventually squashed the beef, because from what X said in 1983 from Napalm, it sounded serious enough for Em to cut off all contact with X for a long time.

Wait til you hear The Moment with Busta and Jason Martin. I don’t like X singing on the chorus but they all went ape shit on it. Higher with Redman and B-Real is an weed smoking anthem. Royce Da 5’9’ is on the song “Crash” going back-to-back with X and one “My Love Song” with Coco, I believe she’s signed to Aftermath.
I believe Dr.Dre should own Compton, Dr.Dre said X Man you're onto somethig...

My belief is that Hurt Locker was a Detox reference known as World of Hurt.

Yep.  Wonder if Dre actually laid vocals to it or...if AI could make that happen?

I only liked "play this at my funeral" from first 3 singles.

I hate wack jointz beats.

For real? I just can't imagine any other rapper other than Xzibit on that song. The grit in his voice just blends so well with the guitar riffs.

LostAngel has the inside scoop on Xzibit. If I'm not mistaken, he had a forum about him.
