I blame Tik Tok. Seems like too many rappers assume, rightly or wrongly, that their audiences don't have a long enough attention span.

This is what makes Not Like Us so amazing…it’s the first rap song with THREE verses to blow up in a long ass time (not to mention the first without a feature too)

There is definitely a rapidly growing body of evidence pointing to social media as the significant contributor in the lack of attention spans of young people. It's actually interesting literature but also quite alarming.

I believe this beat and hook was recorded many years ago. Because Butch Cassidy can't sing like this nowadays. His pronuncation is broken in his last records. This one is old pure Butch Cassidy.

i liked it, just i can sense that he has something wrong with lips, teeth, tongue or anything like that. he has a little health issue, i can hear that, thats what i meant.

you can see the difference if you compare his latest records and old records. you can even notice if you watch his mouth singing in music video of xzibit. but he is still dope.
