I don't know 100%, your right, but if I had a million dollars I would bet that deep down crooked I and them don't wanna collab wit ja rule.  You listen to rap, do u like ja rule?  Does more than 3% of this forum think ja rule is a good rapper?  Are you really telling me that if suge knight wasn't around that crooked I on his own would go out and do all these collabs with murder inc, especially since 99% of the other rappers would make better collabo's than ja rule and murder inc.  Can you honestly tell me that if crooked I were a free agent, and he had a chance to work with dr. dre and drop an album, that he wouldn't?  (yes I read the dubcnn interview, and I don't believe crooked I)  Even Jayo Felony said he would sign to aftermath and he said prettymuch any rapper that wouldn't is an idiot (and jayo seems like a very big ego'd rapper)

I'm one of the 97%, but honestly, I'd rap with Vanilla Ice if he waived enough money in my face.  If Crook wasn't on Death Row, or signed to any other label, he prolly wouldn't care who'd he do a track with, whether it be Ashanti, Puffy, Big Tymers, Dre, MC Hammer, Tim Dog, etc. as long as he's getting a check for 16 bars.

to be honest, i think all these claims that Suge is making certain rappers do this and that is bullshit, because there are other people in the industry than Suge Knight.  Crooked I could have met up wit people that Suge is supposedly making him work with on his own.  For example, Kurupt is coo with Noreaga who's coo wit Ja Rule.  Who knows, Crook could have met Ja before Death Row and Murder Inc. started doing business.  It's wrong to assume things when we're on the outside looking in.

$$$ is what makes the music industry go round.  Since you are not a big Row fan, holla at Snoop, Daz, RBX, OFTB, Rage, and other ex-inmates and ask them what the music industry revolves around, cuz I guarantee you that if they were paid, they'd still have Row chains

Yes, Kurupt said it briefly, but not in the studio it was live on a stage and it was merly due to Ja Rules latest actions by takin shots at anybody with no real personal issues at all.

Kurupt doesnt hate Ja Rule, and Crooked as well as Eastwood refused to participate in any collaborations with the man because of his choice which is one of the reasons (among others) for the delay for say Hi To The Bad Guy as Ja Rule is on Two Tracks for the project but only 1 for the LP. I thought this was well known already about the deathrow / murder Inc situation. Ovbiously not!  8)

What's wrong with Ja Rule? I mean hold on. I dont like him, that's not the point. I'm in that 97% of the forum that, like you said, actually think he's just an overrated idiot. But if i remember well, Snoop Dogg, a free artist with no CEO's like Suge telling him what to do, did a track with him that was supposed to be in PAID THA COST. Am i wrong? And didnt he work with Puff Daddy too? I remember a video with Snoop, Puff Daddy & Shaq, right? Puff Daddy is even worse than Ja Rule. But still, like Young Kapone said, money makes the world go round, and Snoop worked with them (fucking up Pac's legacy and his own reputation).

This is in no way a diss to Snoop, since i'm cool with Crooked I working with Murder Inc (their collabos are actually good!), so i'm cool with Snoop working with East Coast producers, Ja Rule, Puff Daddy, Mobb Deep, singing rock songs, etc.

Snoop also has done a hellova lot more than crooked I.  Snoop has like 7 solo albums out..shit I don't need to tell you what he has done.  Anyways he has waaaaayyyyy more songs than crooked I, and sure he is going to collab wit some wack ass rappers....but as far as we know he only did ONE song wit ja rule (and that is only a rumor, nobody has heard the song), but crook has done waaaayyyyy fewer songs than snoop, and has had like 3 or 4 collabs wit ja rule and murder inc.

I can't believe you guys want to try and defend suge, ja rule, and murder inc on doing good things for rap.  Just fucking look at all the bad things that have happened in rap that suge is somehow related to.  (pac and biggies murder, dpg breakup, snoop and dre break up, unneccesary disses between ex homies, contract screwing, not releasing albums, ruining rappers careers)  whatever I wouldn't mind if suge, ja rule, and murder inc were never heard of again in the rap game.

I'm not defening Suge or Ja Rule. I'm just expressing an opinion. I dont think Suge is the only devil and all the others are priests. Suge did a lot of negative things for rap. And a lot of positive things. But he's not the only. Do you remember Daz saying Snoop didnt pay him and Kurupt so much like they deserved? The next month Kurupt was on Death Row. Plus what is Snoop doing for the West Coast? He's collaborating more with Primo (excellent producer, dont get me wrong) than with Warren G, Daz, EA Ski, Dre, etc. And why the fuck Soopa still doesnt have an official album out while Doggy's Angels got an album with Doggystyle? Why the fuck Eastsidaz got 2 albums and a 3rd one on its way and 213 got no albums? Why NWA2 got no albums? Why DPGC got no albums?

Can you really blame Suge for those things?

If rap is sleeping, on the West Coast, it's not because of Suge. Am i wrong?
Ir rap is sleeping, on the West Coast, it's because of everybody but Suge! You know what i mean?

WTF does suge have to do with any of those things???  I never said suge is the reason why rap is sleeping on the westcoast.  In another post I typed some negative things that have happened in rap in which suge knight was related too.  What good has suge done for rap?  Just tell me a couple of things, because I could go on and on about the negativity he brings to rap.  And if rap is sleeping its because of everybody but Suge!!!  Explain that one too me?  Is it cause he stirs up beefs, disses hella westcoast rappers, and uses murder inc and jay z to try and bring popularity to his label?  Fuckin suge is a damn millionaire, he doesn't need any help from anyone.  He easily could promote all his artists, but instead he chooses to bring snoop/dpg/dre high down.  I mean what if suge approached Dre like a man, squashed the beef and offered $250,000 for a fat beat for crooked I to blow up on the radio.  But it seems as if some people on this forum would rather have suge diss dre, recruit irv gotti for a beat, do a radio song for crook and throw ja rule on there screaming murder and 2Pac.

And to the people saying suge don't control his artists.  hahahah.  Remember back in the days, when DR artists were pretty much not allowed to be featured guests on anyone else's albums.  Or they couldn't really have non DR artists on their albums.  Or what about all the artists who were signed, but suge wouldn't let their album drop, yet wouldn't let them out of their contract, so they had to go to court.  Why did every artist leave the label?  Some of you guys need to get off the fuckin groupie bangwagon.  Fuck man Death Row is my fav label of all time and they have put out the best records of all time.  But face the fucking facts, its all due to the og artists especially dre, snoop, and pac.  Suge knight hasn't done shit for rap, and if he did then Death Row records would be on top right now.  Oh yeah, how much did Disfunktional family sell?

Man, relax. In this forum is really impossible to talk relaxed about Death Row, i've noticed it. I totally agree that Death Row was Death Row (the best) 99% because of Dre, Snoop, DPG, Rage, etc.. and not because of Suge. Suge just started it. He was like the President of the Lakers, Buss. Dre was Phil Jackson. Snoop was Kobe, and Pac was Shaq. It's obvious that without Buss, there's no Lakers. Cause he's the boss. But his influence is very poor in Lakers's success. He just make things happens (with the money).

So let's not make it a Death Row vs Snoop & Dre thing. That's not the point of the discussion. We are talking about the fact that Suge is, in your opinion, the DEVIL. He's not the coolest person to work with, you are right. But he's not the only one who's continuing to diss his ex-members. I mean Daz makes a Death Row diss every 2 tracks. Bad Azz now is acting like if Suge fucked his girl. Snoop just made Pimp Slapp'd. The ones who quitted Death Row are those rappers.

POSITIVE THINGS OF SUGE
1. He saved Dre from Ruthless
2. He saved 2Pac from Jail (ok, he killed him)(not phisically, but driving him into his fucking gangsta lifestyle, cause Pac was no gangsta, like Snoop said! And he died G style)
3. He gave a chance to a lot of rappers who became famous at Death Row.

Then he fucked up everything. ;D

But the thing you said about Suge & Dre... why Daz instead of calling Pac's mom a crackhead bitch didnt go to her asking her "could i work on a track for Pac?". Why Daz, instead of hating on Kurupt like if he's a Taliban didnt accepted Kurupt's decision and released another DPG album?

P.S. I dont give a flying fuck about sales. I'm not Suge. I'll not get money from the album. And i prefeer Daz's album anyway.

he said it on his streets is a mutha album back in 99 on the song called Calling out names.  but now he takes it in the ass along wit everyone else at death row and does whatever suge says.  so suge says be cool wit murder inc, you goddamn right kurupt is gonna be cool wit them whether he likes it or not, and same shit goes for crooked I and all them.  You think Crook really wants to rap alongside Ja Rule?  Hell no, I don't give a shit what he says in interviews, he is lying.  Crooked I got mad talent, and game recognize game, he know ja rule sucks, it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

I totally agree with what you say about daz.  But the reason I say these things about suge, because he is in a much different position than daz.  Suge has a lot more money and power, and his actions have a lot of impact.  Many people don't even know who daz is, but hella peeps know who suge is.  If Daz writes something on his forum I really hope you don't take it seriously.  Daz is a street nigga, you can barely even read what he types.  But Suge, man he went to college, he knows a lot about business, he is a great businessman.  I do not think Suge is the devil, in fact I admire him in some ways.  I just think that he does a lot of stupid shit, just at the expense of other people.  Sure the new inmates praise him and shit, but so did all the other inmates when they were signed, and now listen to what they say.  The reason I speak so badly about suge is cause I think he ruined westcoast rap, and continues to do so.  And it is not impossible to talk about death row on here.  If people would come with realistic and logical arguments, than that is one thing.  but most peeps have the same old arguments: Crooked I is gonna take over the west, the row is about to blow up, the row is gonna be on top again, the row has tons of talent.  Can you honestly tell me that every rapper on the row is not in a shitty situation?  Look what happened to ATL, Swoop G, YGD, Tha Realest, VK, and all the other artists signed between 98 and 2002.  They are not even on the label anymore, and they didn't even get to put an album out.  Crook has been on there since 98 and we haven't seen shit.  He could have dropped 2 albums by now if he had signed with any other label, and us, the fans, would get to hear him.  but no, his albums sit in the vaults, and all we get to hear is how great it IS GOING TO BE WHEN IT DROPS.  And daz may say stupid shit and diss the row, but at least he is putting albums out, which in the end is a benefit to both of us.
