I know.  The fact that Aftermath is finally releasing Casablanco after Marsha's been signed for 18 years is somehow an indicator that Missionary is coming next month is beyond me.  People are grasping for any type of hope for this long dead project. 

I don't quite understand the hype for this.  Dre doesn't produce Westcoast funk type beats anymore.  Even if this were ever to come out, it's going to sound modern and chaotic and messy like Compton was, not at all like Doggystyle.  I'd much rather hear Snoop over some Battlecat, Primo, FredWreck, Jelly Roll, Quik, etc. than Dre at this stage of his career.

It's just Snoop saying it will. Just like he said it was coming Summer 2023, how the single was coming in "a couple of weeks" back in February and how Dre was gonna start mixing the album mid april.
