My eggs for you. The ICU is Fredwreck, Dem Jointz, Blu2th and Trevor Lawrence Jr.

It doesn't means Dre is involved. And the explanation wasn't even for you, so it leaks.
Being produced by The ICU doesn't mean Dre is involved, but being produced by Dre means the ICU is involved, it's not like he's gonna produce Missionary on his own. I hope you're right and this song is strictly for the soundtrack and won't end up being on the album too, but Dre not being the only producer on it is far from the confirmation.

Of course, everyone knows that Dre doesn't produce anything on his own these days, so I don't even know why you talking about this, waste of time.

And yes, there is no confirmation that this track will be on the album, in the Madden OST it is listed on the back cover and apparently it is not a new sound. And please do not talk bout this song in this thread, there’s already a thread for this specific track.

Most of ICU's beats are pretty complex and musically advanced but they aren't catchy at all. Hoping for a more simpel style with less beat changes, so more Fredwreck and Focus and less Dem Jointz.. But cool it's really coming out nevertheless.

Good to hear details about the album directly from Dre and he offered the information willingly.

Even mentioned amount of tracks he has mixed yet (11) and how he’s aiming to finish mixing before 1st September to be able to release in November.

So definitely it’s coming and I’m with Snoop we want 16 tracks not 14, lol. Dre loves to keep songs in the vault for nothing.

This ICU/Dre discussion, for me as long as Dre is on board with any of the ICU producer, wether tweaking, doing drums or just directing tempo of the music and where lyrics fits, concept for the song (writers), etc…. it’s Dre production to me, that’s why he gets musicians/writers on roaster and pay them, it’s not rocket science.

If he’s not involved with them in the studio cooking the music, then it’s totally Focus, Joints or Denaun’s production, which we had with their PDF project.

Dre did a few songs for the album, but is expecting only 1 to make it.
Dre wants 14, Snoop wants 16. I wonder if the 2 extra tracks that Snoop wants are songs that feature Dre.

duno if it has anything to do wit that

sounds like there’s a couple songs that dre believes are filler.. and snoop still wants them
on there

it’s sad that snoop still won’t let dre fully take charge and produce the album as a true producer would

if dre says 14 tracks… that should be that

Yew, Dre must feel the album is tight at 14 songs, but this is Snoop's chance to rap over and release as many valuable Dre produced beats as he can.

Plus i doubt Dre will be doing any remixes, so for us the more songs we get on 'Missionary' the merrier.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “Missionary” Album Expected to Drop This November: A New Chapter in Hip-Hop

Dr. Dre Teases High-Quality Production and Mature Lyrics in Upcoming Collaboration with Snoop Dogg, "Missionary"

The hip-hop world is buzzing with anticipation as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg prepare to release their long-awaited collaborative album, Missionary. Originally teased as a follow-up to their iconic 1993 release Doggystyle, the new album has fans eager to see how these West Coast legends will build on their legacy. According to Dr. Dre, the album is set to drop in November, coinciding with the 31st anniversary of Doggystyle.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dr. Dre offered an exciting update on the project, revealing that he is currently mixing the album’s final tracks. “I wanted 14 songs, Snoop wants 16,” Dre shared, indicating that they’re close to completing the project. “I’m on song number 11 as far as the mixes go. I have to be done and delivered by September 1st to have a November release.”

The album, which Dre confidently describes as “some of the best music I’ve done in my career,” promises to showcase a new level of maturity in both his production and Snoop’s lyrics. Dre hinted at a more evolved sound that reflects their growth as artists over the past three decades. “This one’s gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and with my music,” he explained, adding that the collaboration process has been more enjoyable than ever.

Adding to the excitement, Dre revealed that the album features a roster of impressive guest artists, including a surprising collaboration with Sting. “There’s a song, we have Sting on the song. Man, it’s an amazing roster of artists that’s on this album,” Dre teased, though he quickly acknowledged that he might have revealed too much.

While Missionary was initially rumored to be released earlier this year, with Snoop Dogg and Tha Dogg Pound hinting at a July drop, it seems the album’s release was pushed back to ensure it meets the high standards Dre and Snoop have set for themselves. The delay only heightens the anticipation, as fans speculate whether Missionary could rival or even surpass the impact of Doggystyle.

With Dr. Dre’s promise of top-tier production and Snoop Dogg’s evolved lyrical content, Missionary is shaping up to be one of the most significant hip-hop releases of the year. As we await the official release date, the buzz surrounding the album continues to grow, and fans are left wondering if this collaboration could become another timeless classic in the genre.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the November release, and prepare for what could be the next chapter in the storied careers of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

a classic with 14 trax > a great album with a few fillers

the other songs will end up leaking over time regardless

like the 1 million detox leaks we have

just make the album as good as possible .. nothing more nothing less
