So who you guys think will feature on the album?

I read on twitter that besides 50 Cent and Sting also Erick Sermon is confirmed?

What about the Dogg Pound and the other inmates? Does Dre still have problems with Daz?

To be honest I won’t blame Dre if he’s got zero interest in working with Daz ever again.

Dre seem to have special relationship with Kurupt, won’t be surprised to see him on the album, wether verse, chorus, ad-lib or just skit

Im hoping Warren G and Nate Dogg in some capacity.  Would be nice to hear some form of Nate on that album whether its a skit, memory, or hook.

And definitely Xzibit.

I believe Kurupt is involved. But I would rather hear Anderson Paak, Problem, October London, YG, Tyler Dolla Sign, Vince Staples than the old cast from the 90s.

this is one of the billion(!) times when Infinite proove that he aint know shit bout hiphop/rap.

whats the news?!

You're just butthurt cause I don't chase around the new albums that come out like as if this is still the 90's and rappers are advancing the craft and everyone is hungry for that new sound, the next big thing in rap.  Like when Rakim first came out it was like the buzz on the street, because he advanced the craft and was doing something with it that hadn't been done.  So everyone was like hungry for that new shit.

Then of course like G Funk came out and that was the new buzz on the streetz and everyone wanted to take their hit.

And then Outkast, or Bone would come around with a new sound and revolutionize the game yet again.  Even No Limit, though they were like the McDonals of rap, they did have like a signature sound that was the new buzz when it first hit with that "UUUUUHHHH" catchphrase when P broke thru on the Rhyme and Reason soundtrack.

If you still wanna act like you are hungry for that new shit go right on ahead, but the game done changed.  I'm diggin for old classics pre-MP3 when it was hard to get your hands on everything.  There's a treasure there to uncover.

Don't be butthurt just cause I ain't waiting for new shit.  And to not be "off-topic" let me just say Dre started throwing up Devil Horns in 2020 and now I see it in pic after pic and images, so since selling his soul to the devil he's lost his midas touch and that Marsha Ambroious shit was YAAAAWWWWN - what are ya'll black women or something how yhou listening to that shit

Missionary won't drop or will be wack

kingdom come is lowkey one of my favorite jay-z albums and by far the most underrated

dre did his thang on there

except of miniority report, other dr. dre productions made me feel ashamed as a dr. dre fan. those tracks must be the worst dre productions ever. also worst jay z album in his discography.

why would i be butthurt over what u decide to listen to?

do you even think about what u say or do u just say whatever first pops up in your mind?

and jay-z kingdom come is not even new … the album is from 2006 and entirely produced/mixed by dre

just because you’re not a true dr dre head and overlooked an album he did in the 2000s doesn’t mean u gota hurl insults outa defensiveness homie

your schtick is see through

This fiasco is a mess. You have people that are stuck in nostalgia and stopped listening to rap since a certain time, therefore they are not aware of HipHop's evolution and the business aspect of it. They are stuck in 2001.
So whatever that came after that, they don't understand it so they will criticize and get defensive.

Then you have the West Coast bias, which is understandable, this is a west coast forum, so their point of view will be a reflection of that.

What I find interesting is that most of us have been here since the beginning, 2001-2003; and some of us didn't grow musically. There is soo much music out there but some expects Missionary to have the old Death Row roster or a G-Funk sound, to which Dr.Dre himself said that it won't be

And yes, Dr.Dre did amazing on Kingdom Come

and yet you have people saying kingdom come is dre’s worst album LOL

but then again cey cey is known to have an anti-dre bias for one reason or another

kingdom come is far and away jay’s best album sonically  ..  and i’m not a big jay fan, but to say it’s his worst album in a discography that contains blueprint 2, blueprint 3, and magna carta is kinda nuts
