Album is definitely coming out soon.  I’m hyped!  The way Dre is talking about the production on it, sounds like it will be a fresh new sound, and Dre saying Snoop killed it and sounds dope as fuck on it is great to hear.

i feel like the albums where Dre executive produces and mixes most of are truly Dre projects. bits and bobs from other producers but with his stamp - for example GRODT, Truth Hurts LP, Big Bang etc.

He is referring to thriller on the mixing tip/ sonically, to set a New standard to inspire the New generations, with the return of live instrumentation.

But compton is also good sonically on nice speakers. But not one song on compton other than Its all on me/ talking to my diary stuck to me. No grooves at all. No good (futuristic) funk. Way too chaotic.

So i expect nothing more than a compton part 2.

If the New album contains 9 hits like thriller than we would have allready heard Some of them. We got that wack bollywood track as a teaser.

Dre: What I’m hoping from this album is I’m trying to impress producers with the sonics. Hoping to inspire the way I was inspired by Bruce Swedien with the Thriller album. Because that was my go-to when I was an up and coming engineer.

Akon's hook was average but that bridge by Sly, Kobe and Blaqthoven was great. Also The Game's remix with Slim tha mobster was fire. Daz and Blaq did some great remix too
