I AM surprised that it’s so similar sounding to his past shit, but at least it sounds like a banger.   In my opinion, IF he gonna go back to his sounds of the past, I’d love to see him update the early DR sound myself.

Lol who cares about the current urban scene; which is wack. If this is not a Dre beat than i have a New favorite producer, which is a positive thing. If you listen closely you can hear Dre say ‘You ready’, like in that Kendrick Lamar commercial. Signature sounds all over it. Cant hate on this.

last we heard the album was said to have a variety of different sounds while being cohesive in it's sonics as any Dre project.

if there's tracks that sound like futuristic GFunk (hell yeah!) it's not going to be the whole album anyway. there are going to be slow jams, pop joints, east coast sounding joints, something for everyone (hopefully Outta Da Blue isn't on there). if you think about Snoop as an artist that sound is a core part of his signature, especially his collabs with Dre.

Just listened to this Andre Writer track…yup, you are totally right.  Nice track, but definitely not a Dre track and not something that is gonna be on Missionary.   

This just shows how hungry most of us are for something from this album, and something MUCH better production wise than what Dre has been doing the last decade or so.

I'd suggest to be in tune with the current time and todays
urban industry. Dr.Dre is definitely not going back to that sound. Listen to what's out there today, from the south the east and even the west. It's a different time, even the way we consume and promote music is different.

Jimmy Iovine, Aftermath and Interscope are heavily involved  watch how this album is being promoted, this is a major release, for the humongous audience. There is a Sting feature, so that tells you how Big this album will be, the good thing tho, Snoop loves you guys and you will still hear that sound on the Eastsidaz album

Hope Dre will deliver with this one. Can’t wait to hear the whole album, but I don’t know what to expect from it.

Dope find! Lakers version sounds a bit more crisp though; probably because of the mixing of the vocals on the beat. Maybe Dre can put his hands on this like he did with Warm Brew - Whispers (back 2 business with ti and justus).
