DOC didn’t write a thing any where for any one he was barely sober during that time … he coached snoop and helped turn his freestyles into songs and helped his writing structure if any thing Snoop pushed DOC to get on songs with his voice with serial kills and $20 sack pyramid

RBX and Snoop did most of The Chronic and if you didn’t know Niggaz Don’t Give a Fuck was a Snoop song then It became a Dogg Pound song

Kurupt admits to Snoop even helping him structure his songs and make them in to verses instead of murdering MCs like DOC did with snoop

Ho Hopper Deez Nuutz were 213 songs that Dre recorded no DOC same thing with G Thang except DOC told him to repeat it’s like this that and this and uhh so yeah DOC wrote that

It’s been in magazines, books and stuff for years … Doc wasn’t sober during the 2 years he was around Death Row … he admitted it and left to Atlanta cuz of his drug binging .. wasn’t writing much JFlexx was writing for Dre
More than any one before the split

Where did you hear that Hoe Hopper and Deez Nuts were 213 songs?

“Deeez Nuuuts”, “Lil' Ghetto Boy”,  “A Nigga Witta Gun”, “Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat” and “The $20 Sack Pyramid” are all confirmed songs by The D.O.C. that he helped write in The Chronic.

I actually am really enjoying the song; despite the punched in vocals, Snoop sounds great and the production is top notch.  And yes, the chorus HAS grown on me.  Remember, before the internet/streaming age, when we used to let shit marinated for a bit before coming to conclusions?  Still, I don’t think this will be a massive hit or anything.

What are the streaming and chart numbers for Gorgeous so far?

It doesn't tell much, it's 2024.
Snoop doing bad numbers was pretty much a given, nobody in their right mind thought he was gonna make it into top 10 or even top 50

As someone who insisted the album wasn't coming, something tells me you were never going to like anything that did come out anyway to be fair

Deep down EVERYBODY has to be honest with themselves, we expected the classic Dre, Snoop finale. Not some new 2024 soft pop experiment.

I think it was just a street single together with the cover and track list, otherwise he would have released the jelly roll or Eminem track. There will be the right single in mid or end of November

We have waited 20 plus years for Dre to release something properly. He let his fans down for years. Now he is releasing Snoop Poppy Dogg - The Condom.

Still i hear greatness in that New track.

While it's an ok sounding track i guess it's not mind blowing like most of us expected for a Snoop and Dre collab. Its not on par with previous releases . To be honest i've been bumping the Eastsidaz Hood been good* all week and I've listened to Gorgeous a couple of times andt thats about it - on to the next. I've said it before, I believe Dre hasn't found that new sound,- cos maybe there is no more new sound after the Scott Storch era. The DJ Khalil era (Kush)) didnt pop off and the kraftwerk and detox era was scrapped. After trap music  that seems to be it for rap music and here to stay, there's not been nothing new sounding since, Dre tried with Compton but that also went left. We just have Trap music now with some Rap Ballads from time to time (I need a doctor and Wiz Ill see you again type joints)

* shout out to (the real) JellyRoll for 4 bangers in a row from Mount Westmore, RBX & Ras Kass, DPG and Eastsidaz

Spot on! People don’t listen to music properly anymore, our attention span is different now, quick to move on to something else.

I really like the track, the more I listen the more I like it, steady in my playlist.

And streaming numbers, whatever that is, doesn’t mean the music is good, recently I like Eastsidaz, Kill Switch by Jason Martin, All that by Ab-Soul, I don’t really care about their numbers on streaming platforms 🤷🏾‍♂️

Side note: Snoop performed it on his Fortnite performance in New York Times Square
Arsenal 4 Life!!!!!!!!!!
