Damn, that's a real shame. That first track sounds dope (the best of the snippets) with that guitar! I like how Snoop took the first couple of bars of 'The Watcher'
What were they thinking not putting that on the album?
they chose Outta Da Blue instead

Yeah, that was obvious from the moment Compton dropped. And the worst part is that he's been stuck with them for a decade now, they been his production team longer then anybody else before them (other than Mike Elizondo)

Compton had at least Gone, All in a days Work & Talking to my diary.. everything we've heart so far is way worse then those..

NWA created Gangsta Rap at the time. Dre has developed it further with Chronic 2001, now they are almost 60 and Dre has adapted Snoop to his age, out of the gangsta shit and made international music out of himself, now we also know why they took Sting, because it is from their generation and all the others who are over 50, Dre and Snoop are out of the gangsta shit. There will be no detox as we expect, gangsta rap is out, we have 2024

I’m not mad at how those previews sound.  They sound kinda dope to me.  I’ll have to wait to judge the album when it comes out.

Thanks for your breakdown but like the person above said… shit music is shit music! Let’s not drop our expectations cause they can’t deliver!

Sounds really not bad. Nevertheless, respect for Snoop and Dre, that they dared to do something completely different and that they have developed further. With this they have completed their legacy. With Death Row Records he continues his Gansta shit, but Dre and Snoop himself are out

facts

This is also the reaction they expected, they have finished with such forums as these and the 90. Fans . With this album they want to show that they have finished with their old music, they are not interested in whether the album will be successful, it will also be the last thing that especially Dre has brought out of himself, end

the first snippet had the most energy but that's not on the album. caught the Dem Jointz snare though...

jelly roll track sounded like a nice production.

WISH this was compton 2

unfortunately, it’s not lookin that way
for what compton was, which was basically 2015 version of the aftermath presents 2000 album, it was listenable. but for a dr dre album following 2001, grodt, doc1, big bang, blue carpet, kingdom come, bishop tapes, slim war music, relapse, recovery, curtis, bisd, red album, gkmc etc it was extremely pathetic. if we didnt know the amount of legends working on detox and the leaks/snippets/known songs for it that dropped from detox, we would probably enjoy the new stuff 5% more but knowing how great detox was and knowing that dre caved in from fake pressure put onto him by jimmy iovine its a slap in the face for hiphop fans. its not hyperbole to say detox dropping wouldve changed rap music. it was literally everything we ever wanted from a dre album but it is what it is now, just another sad L we gotta take knowing dre is too insecure to even drop a lost tapes album.
