Storch and Elizondo made that Dre 99-2005 run a great one .After that Dre music gradually fell off .It's facts
camaro kambon was the main keyboardist for the album.. storch was secondary … this is facts, not my opinion homie mel-man did wayyyyy more than storch, it’s not even close storch was essentially a session played who was guided by dre the only thing he came up wit on his own was the piano riff for still dre none of this is disputable
storch himself will tell u he was nothing more than a session playerStorch: "people say Dre doesn't do his beats but just takes the credit." Scott immediately dispels that notion. "Dre is very hands-on," he explains. "He's a very technical dude. I'll see that dude coming into studio with EQs and crazy compressors from the seventies. He programs the beats. All the stuff we did together, he orchestrated." Storch paints Dre as an absolute visionary, and rightly so. https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/138882-scott-storch-opens-up-on-crafting-2001-with-dr-dre-on-the-breakfast-club-newssame with elizando the glove and mel-man >>>>>>>
The WatcherFuck youStill dreBig egosLets get highBitch NiggazMurder InkHousewifesAre the songs Scott storch is involved with.Scott Storch proved how much he is capable of in his career.Camara Kambon couldnt. (I love him by the way) So i believe scott storch did more than you thought for the songs he is credited as only "keyboardist".Yeah i know the difference between being an instrumentalist, beatmaker and producer. But without Camara Kambon, Scott Storch and Mel Man 2001 wouldnt have the same impact.
mel-man did wayyyyy more than storch, it’s not even close
Batson/Parker era was basically Storch/Elizondo era on steroids. Some of the best Dre beats of all time came out around that time. Their sound was like 2001 brought to another level. Shit Dre did on The Big Bang and TBCT still sounds incredible, and Relapse is the Em's best produced album.
If you really want to capture that sound minus Mel-Man - think about people who didn't get paid when the album first came out....Stu-B-Doo (Uncredited Producer), Chris The Glove Taylor (Did Xxplosive), Colin Wolfe (Uncredited producer/musician), Drauma (Stocks Mcguire - Ghost Wrote on 2001), Bud'da (Has a Platinum Plaque from 2001, but where's his name in the credits?), and so on and so forth.
one of snoop's weakest albums
I'm not talking about Dre taking credit away from others or not being the main guy .. I'm just saying whether it was Storch and Elizondo co-producing or just playing the keys or the bass , the beats were fire .Storch solo beats weren't as great as the ones he was involved with Dre ..
