Outta Da Blue split opinions but right now for me, it’s one of my favourite from the album.

It takes while for everything going on to settle but it’s pretty good and fits with the album, Dre & Snoop back & Forth are pretty good on it too.

The release of the Instrumentals this early is good movie, on Hard Knocks instrumental now 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 dirrrrttyy.

I've actually grown to like Outta Da Blue when listening to the whole album. It seems to work when listening to the whole project.
The problem is with many of the tracks that it's not instantly catchy/easy to like for the casual listener, unlike Doggystyle where it was so easy for everyone (hip-hop and non hop-hop fans alike) to like instantly.
For me, it's like Missionary is Snoop's equivalent to Makaveli - quite difficult to casually listen to the album, not really for the clubs or car (exception for a couple of tracks). It's was more for listening to the earphones on the way to work, and listening to the album in one whole go, where as All Eyez on Me had music for different situations (clubs, car, etc) and you can quite easily listen to a couple of tracks on it's own.

After hearing the instrumentals. I wish Tha Eastsidaz and the whole dpgc and affiliates was featured on these beats would have been a whole different vibe. Instead of the stupid lady choruses and snoop whispering raps.

Snoop whispering raps? Are you listening to the same album?

That gunsmoke instrumental without the Biggie vocal and them rapping is super dope

If you sequence the instrumentals:
Foreplay
Shangri-la
Hardknocks
Skyscrapers
Gunsnsmoke
Now or never
Negotiator

You have a sick dark Lalo Schifrin suspense movie soundtrack

I know the market for cds is tiny compared to what it once was, but does anyone think there will be a re-release of the cd with the track “Thank You,” included?  After hearing song, it just seems a shame that it’s not on there.

So what would be the solution if you were in their shoes?  The album was already pressed some time ago and shipped out.  Thank You was a last minute addition to the album thanks to fan feedback.

Options:
1. Offer a CD quality download of Thank You on Snoop's site (or similar, e.g. Interscope's site) for people who upload proof of purchase of the retail CD.
2. Run a recall program where fans can get a replacement CD with the missing tracc included.

I'm a home theater buff in addition to hip hop and therefore collect a lot of blu-rays/4k UHD discs. If a screw-up like this occurred, they would do something like this. The Criterion Collection did this with their release of Citizen Kane, etc. It happens pretty frequently, actually.
"Detox" is a myth -- Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Area 51, Iraq having WMD, Detox...you get it now?  It was invented by the Aftermath marketing department to maintain the fans' attention.  Notice how everytime a new Aftermath album is ready to come out, they always mention Detox is next up?  Because they are using the invention of "Detox" as a way to market other albums.  The sooner you realize that Detox is NOT REAL, the sooner you'll feel liberated.  Oh yeah, f.u. Aftermath for fooling us fans.

Sharing another reaction to the album.

Love how this guy is jamming to the album, just letting the music talk to him.

haha, they aren't going to do a massive recall on all the CDs.  Be realistic.  A free download, maybe....but that's not going to please anyone.  We all know where we can get a free download if we so desire.

I'm really enjoying this album, at first i can honestly say that i was disappointed in some of the songs that were promoted before the album was released. Then i listened to it in its entirety and i am very pleased with it. There are only a few songs that i skip, the majority of the album keeps me tuned in and i love how the beats change up on several of the songs, i didn't see that coming. The quality is Crisp as usual coming from Dre and Snoops Flows is on point, Dre always brings out the best in Snoop, no complaints on my end, I'm loving this!
