i don’t understand .. this was your initial reaction VVwhat changed since then? you sounded genuinely appalled at how disappointing the album was to you .. so the album went from complete trash to having a handful of bangers??
Bumpin it right now with Beats by Dre studio headphones and you can hear every little tweek and sound effect... makes you appreciate Dre as a producer even more!
i overreacted a bit in the begining. this was not i expected like you said so, but i have to accept this is what they are fucking with now and when i try to get in to the mood to force myself to enjoy it, it worked after a few spins. i only skip outta da blue and gorgeous. the rest goes very well from start to end for me. yeah i wish there would be a few more dre type of beats like thank you but it is what it is. also snoop sounds sooo fucking cool on the mic. his performance should be appriciated. i'm getting positive opinions day by day. if they could make a few more touches to a few songs it would be waaaaay more better.
Somehow you know the discussions, when 2001 came out, the old generation was disappointed why Dre no longer makes the Death Row sound everyone had expected a Chronic 2, today snoops album is played on fortnite, imagine they would play N.W.A Fuck the Police on it ha ha ha, from 2000 Dre and Snoop have already become mainstream, that's why I didn't expect anything else from the album, if you are open then it's a good album but for another company
i am trying to understand what kind of music dre trying to form.i feel some 70s 80s vibe on instrumentation but what i notice clearly is drum patterns.instead of two or three songs most of the songs have unusual drum patterns except of classic 4/4 hip hop drum loops.what else did you guys notice? do you think album has a style on its own?
i noticed there is no style it’s just a bunch of compositions thrown together to sound big with no rhyme or reason .. like the structure of the sting track. the mindset he used when producing that song trickles down to the identity of the entire album. and you’re trying way too hard to force yourself to like this lolyou might not like compton personally, but at least it had an identity
all this promo and catering to the masses and the album is projected to do less than 40khttps://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=344051&title=TOP-20%253A-STRAY-KIDS-HOP-TO-THE-TOPI am the 1st not to care about sales but it is ironicbtw looking at that chart current music that is quality is at an all time low
I feel the Sting song/beat sounds like stadium music and I think that's intentional for sure. They could fill a stadium with that one.
