so Jimmy had the right idea for a 1st single, a joint with Snoop and Dre rapping back and forthbut he didn't hear the beat?
Still think it’s better than Compton. Snoop is really rapping and I could never get over Dre’s voice and flow on Compton. Not to mention some of the effects he tried to put on others voices. Havnt heard it in a while but remember the vocals being more bothersome than the beast. On a side note talking to my diary is the dopest beat on either project.
On bootleg kev interview snoop said dr. Dre mixed the whole the last meal album from top to bottom. But in credits he gets mixing credit for 8 songs. How is it possible?
LOLLLLLLsnoop probably thinks dr dre produced tha doggfather hanging on to his words when it comes to interviews is hilarious
I agree. Compton is worse than Missionary, but Talking to My Diary is the best song across both albums.I think the biggest sin that Missionary commits is that Dre had Snoop conform to Dre's sound rather than the other way around. As a result, Missionary doesn't feel like a Snoop Dogg album to me. It's very impersonal. It's a shocking miscalculation by Dre. He knows better. The producer should craft a sound that complements his artist rather than forcing the artist to adopt a sound that doesn't fit. It's a shame because Snoop did his part whereas Dre didn't.

Feels like they picked the wrong writers for Snoop, the ICU team didn't study Snoop properly; the best song writer for Snoop is Soopafly. Also excluding the Death Row roster (new and old) from this project was a mistake, they would have brought that missing element; that dogghouse soulfoodThank You being the best song on the album is also dated.Although well produced, I see this album as a failure musically.
remember when he said Nas was on the OG "Got My Mind Made Up"? Daz had to correct him
i don't think daz can correct someone at all.
