“House Party” is my jam!  Straight west coast summer vibe on that for sure.

“Who da Hardest” is dope as fuck and easily the best song on the album.

The rest of the album has some good tracks and some weaker songs.

Overall not a bad release

It's a cool project. The best songs based on replay value are "W.A.W.G", "Who Da Hardest" and "House Party". I also get that "Insert verse here" on a few songs. But overall it's à cool album.

yea the danny boy track the warren g track

just unconcentraded efforts .. no bueno
While I don't disagree Snoop lacks focus / concentration / direction with a lot of what he does, I don't think these are great examples.

The Warren G track is clearly a tour promo track. I've seen plenty of artists do collabs for a tour that weren't necessarily attached to any project. I remember T.I. and Lil Wayne did "Wit Me" when they were touring together. That song didn't make an album.

And the Danny Boy track..  I see nothing wrong with releasing a single to test the temperature if people would actually be interested in a Danny Boy reunion album on Death Row.

This album is pretty dope. As good as we could realistically hope for in 2024 from DPG tbh. I can't believe this album was apparently put together in just a few days. It's not an unfocused or lazy attempt considering.

Thats whats crazy  :o

Imagine if this team sat down for 6 months and dropped lyrical warfare like Who Da Hardest?!

After a couple more spins the album grew on me… feeling La Kinda Love (commercial pop hit could be big), Imma Dogg, Grown Up, Who da Hardest, Always on My Mind, and the 3 singles already out.

not marketed n promoted properly

because he drops something seemingly every other week making his releases far less eventful

unlike eminem who is dropping now and has the whole world anticipating it because he hasn’t been doin the most leading up to the album

it’s a bad strategy if you’re looking to build anticipation .. there needs to be some mystique

I think it has mastering issues. Some songs are louder then others.

mixing and mastering was clearly rushed

Agreed.

Making me look forward to the Eastsidaz album more, they have been working together since last year, compared to Daz & Kurupt
