Skitso raps too, right? So it's his song featuring Tha Eastsidaz & Kokane.

Who the hell is Skitso?

listened and liked.

if its longer, i mean twice as now, its gonna be a good album.

if its longer, i mean 3-4x, it could be a real eastsidaz album.

Not as many feats as they used to.

IMO this is better than WAWG was before this year from deathrow records!

I don't mind him being featured sometimes nevertheless I'm not a big fan of his solo tracks.

I like it a lot. I like it better than anything off Tray Deee's Malice album.

They did a good job on this. Hopefully we don't have to wait a decade for the next album.

Really disappointed with this EP in pretty much every way. Subpar production, weak concepts, and horrible beat selection. It sounds very passive and really doesn't do the group justice. This group went platinum for fucks sake. On a label with this kind of historic reputation, they should've had a real budget. October London got Babyface production on his latest album and these guys get C and D-list sounding tracks? The whole thing sounds like an afterthought and fell completely flat for me. And after 23 years, this is not even close to the kind of reintroduction they deserve. If this EP was played for me prior to release, I'd tell them to scrap it and start over. Very unconvincing. I hope better days are ahead for Tha Eastsidaz. To me, this is their worst effort yet.

As a music hip-hop fan, what if that's all they have to offer? What if this is their peak? We can't really compare to October London because he is part of the industry, he has been writing for alot of artists and got a great management team and promotional tool. What do Tray and Goldie have other than being signed to Death Row, although they have 2 successful albums, in 2024 all they have is their limited fanbase and the hood. Kuddos to them for providing music though.

There is no budget for a group like this in 2024 because the only listeners are hardcore // old school fans like us.

Besides, I'd want production provided by Battlecat, Jelly Roll etc.

Agreed, Malice wasn't that good.

On the other hand, The 3rd Coming album was amazing, but that was already 2016.

Very underwhelming. Sounds like a half assed rushed attempt at capturing any interest from nostalgic old heads but it’s just not hittin right smh

No soopafly?
No nate
No RBX
No Daz
No Warren
No twinz

Beats are very forgettable

i can't understand why battlecat gives his worst beats for artists to release but he keeps the best ones to preview on instagram live only.

to me the best song is the one which features butch cassidy but for the first time i thought butch cassidy couldnt make it. he could come up a better chorus on that beat. i felt kinda dissapointed with butch's performance.

on the other hand production sounds very well mixed and mastered. beats are banging on both headphones and speakers. but beats are forgetable.

there could be a fucking good EP with a fredwreck production, catchy battlecat production, way better butch cassidy performance.

but i still feel like to listen to eastsidaz on 2024.

much better and you?

Noted. I feel like the Kush instrumental knocks harder.

I don't think Battlecat gives rappers beats I think rappers pick them out of various tracks he already made or he's in the studio with them cooking up a beat on the spot. A lot of rappers are known for picking the worst beats.
