Well even if that’s true—if I’m 43 and still haven’t figured out how to make “good decisions” then that doesn’t bode well for my life after 50

some people get wiser with age

u may not be physically in your prime

but you're supposed to learn from your mistakes and grow mentally until the day u die

Been too many ups and downs this summer—starting with losing all my summer pay and getting screwed on apartment rent all to the total of something like 8,000 to 10,000 dollars by the time it is all finalized and added up before the end of this year.

Then rough experience back in America this summer.

So I still feel I only have 7 years left till 50–because if life is like this at 43 when there are professional athletes that still play at my age.  So if I can’t make life better than this now then what is the reason to stick around after 50?

So I was doing better from September 24’ thru May 25’—but unfortunately caught 4 unfortunate events this summer that are a bit more than what my 1980’s senses tell me are normal bumps in the road.  To me they seem more than what is considered normal to how I was raised in the 80’s when you are a kid and you start to develop a sense of what is “normal” to you according to your upbringing.

So I still feel age 50 is a reasonable and nice round number.

What were the 4 unfortunate events?

What were the 4 unfortunate events?

1.  When you are a teacher they always pay for the summer last day before you leave in June so everyone just checks their phone last day and finds there 2-3 months of pay, mine didn’t come to my phone, and when I asked what’s wrong I was told to go to the lawyers office, they said because I informed them on Jan 15 instead of before Dec 31 that I was leaving to a new job that they can take my summer pay.  It was actually in the fine print of the contract but yet strangely nobody knew of this and nobody informed me

2.  My brother didn’t let me stay at his place this summer cause his wife said I touched her clothes when they were in the dryer or something the previous summer when I stayed there

3.  Fight with local Egyptian security here in the Arab gulf to leave my apartment, even involved police but I lost the argument I will still be paying them rent till November even though I moved out August 1st

4.  Was told at new job I couldn’t do things my own way like I’ve done them here for 10 years that I have to follow the same script as everyone else

^^those are the 4 things happened this summer
