It's live!

Nicely violent, fucking funny and scathing too, Method Man narrating etc...

Real funny comedy Gangster shit!

The telepathic powers ahahaha  ;D

Quality and production is top-notch.

Dre and Snoop killed it, perfect on-screen chemistry...wanted it to go on for a couple of hours!

They made an album together again, should also crank out a new full comedy movie together again too (The Wash was 2001).

Not necessarily a Dre beat. Swizz Beats and one other person are credited for music used in this film.

Great short. This should be a pilot for a fully developed series on Max, Starz, or Showtime. The theme carries through with the gin commercial with Sinatra and Sammy. Seems like low hanging fruit to me. There's definitely an audience for it.

Enjoyed that, didn’t want it to end!

Snoop & Dre have good chemistry on screen and funny.

Won’t be surprised if 50 want to develop something on the screen with them

Dre much more comfortable as an actor here than in situations past.

Prob a taste of what that Apple pilot might have been like before it was cancelled. "Vital Signs"

I heard that, too, and was wondering if that is a track he has been working on or something we will hear in the future.

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre Are The ‘Super Punisher’ In ‘Missionary’ Short Film

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre drop their explosive new Missionary short film, delivering Punisher-style justice with a telepathic twist.

Global icons Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have officially released their Missionary short film (watch below), accompanying Snoop’s new album of the same name, out now via Death Row, Aftermath, and Interscope Records. The short film showcases Snoop and Dre as long-time hitmen—a duo with Punisher-like ruthlessness and telepathic superpowers.

The short film stars Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre and features Jhené Aiko and Alus, with a voice over by Method Man. Appearing in the post-credit-like scene is 50 Cent who says, “What you thought? You was the only one living that street super Punisher life?”

A Visual and Musical Powerhouse

The Missionary short film doubles as a cinematic extension of the album’s themes. It’s a gritty tale of revenge and redemption, with Snoop and Dre blending their killer instincts and newfound superpowers to take on a series of enemies. Their portrayal draws inspiration from Marvel’s Punisher but adds a supernatural edge with telepathic abilities that elevate their teamwork to another level.

The film arrives as Missionary—produced entirely by Dr. Dre—continues to dominate the music scene. Tracks like “Last Dance With Mary Jane” (featuring Jelly Roll and the late Tom Petty) have already captured fans’ attention, with Dre revealing that Petty had long envisioned this collaboration as a guaranteed hit.

Snoop and Dre: A Legacy Reborn

Missionary marks the first full-length collaboration between Snoop and Dre since Snoop’s 1993 debut, Doggystyle. The album showcases their unmatched chemistry across a lineup of powerhouse tracks featuring artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, Method Man, and Jhené Aiko. Highlights include “Hard Knocks,” blending martial drum beats with sharp lyricism, and “Another Part of Me,” where Sting lends his talents to a Message in a Bottle-inspired track.

Snoop sees this project as a peak moment in his career and says there is more to come:

“We [still] in love with what we do. I’m peaking right now and Dr. Dre see that. He brings the best out of me because he’s particular about everything I say, the way I deliver it, the fuckin’ music and the concept of the songs.”

Dr. Dre echoed the sentiment in a recent interview, calling Missionary some of the best music he’s ever recorded:

“This is some of the best music that I’ve ever recorded. We’re better together … It’s a love and respect. We can get in there and just have fun being creative and just experiment.”

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre Release Cinematic ‘Missionary’ Short Film Narrated By Method Man

The West Coast legends' joint album arrived on Friday (Dec. 13).

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s anticipated Missionary album was released on Friday (Dec. 13) and the West Coast icons delivered an accompanying short film to live alongside the joint LP.

Dr. Dre
Method Man
Snoop Dogg

The cinematic mini-movie is bookended by a pair of explosive visuals for album singles “Outta Da Blue” and “Gorgeous” featuring an appearance by Jhené Aiko.

Narrated by Method Man, when Dre and Snoop weren’t in the studio they were giving back to the streets that raised them by protecting the city as superheroes of sorts. They were saving kidnapped children and taking out workers who abused the elderly.

But when anyone crossed them, the opps met their demise and were butchered and kept in the secret freezer underneath Dre’s Aftermath lounge. If that overflowed, the rest of the bodies were taken on a ride to sea on the Missionary boat and dumped in the middle of the ocean.

There was some comedy mixed into the action as well with Dre snatching the Eminem Air Jordan 4’s off the feet of one of the dead bodies after Snoop let him know they were worth five figures. The Doggfather even cracked a joke about Tyrese cutting his nipples off to make his shirts fit tighter.

50 Cent makes his presence felt with a surprise cameo in the final credits after Dre and Snoop suspected his involvement in one of the murders. “You taught me that OGs, now take your a– back to the club before I snatch that crown forever,” the G-Unit boss warned.

Eminem and 50 Cent are featured on Missionary standout “Gunz N Smoke.” Other album guests include Jelly Roll, Sting, BJ the Chicago Kid and more.
