Yeah MLB price is about $150 here and then NFL is around $500. You got it way cheaper out there. Which Arab gulf country? Yemen?
the Mets June swoon in full effect7 straight losses and counting
What precipitated their slump—Soto still struggling?
Yemen is not the Arab Gulf.Come on homie, Yemen, is like a war-zone, I’d really be an enigma of I’d been spending all these years in Yemen. No offense or anything, but considering you are Persian and used to have a rap group named “Sand Niccaz”—you’ve not only not delved into much of the happenings in the region but I think you even have a subconscious block against that part of the world. That’s not a diss, it’s not like I know everything about the State of Missouri or Arkansas cause my families from there, or cause my dad’s (legal and sperm donor both) grew up on the farm that I know everything about farming, I actually know nothing but fun fact — I visited both my legal Uncle (as a kid) and my sperm donor uncles (during Convid) farms in Arkansas and spent a day with them. For some reason I prefer to just leave it at Arab Gulf, and see what people come up with. But really, in a general sense when people say “Khaleej” or “Arab Gulf” they aren’t really even talking about Yemen but more so like the OPEC oil rich G.C.C. (Gulf Cooperation Council) regions of the Gulf. So for example, like Arabs from the “Sham” or like in English Eastern Mediterranean/Levant region, which is regions like Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon might resent Arabs from the Gulf because they live easy oil rich lives. So no, it’s a pretty simple life where I live, not a poverty stricken, overly religious, war-zone like Yemen. In fact the Arab Gulf is actually called the “Persian Gulf” historically and you are Persian—but though Iran shares the Persian Gulf Sea with these Arab Gulf Countries and also has oil—they are not part of the G.C.C because they speak Farsi, Shia, different ethnicity, different economy, recent and historical clashes, etc
Soto is actually doing OK. He is an on base machine even when he isn't hitting because he walks so he much. Lindor has went into a deep funk 0-19 currently and Alonso has cooled off big time. Plus the starting pitching which was our strength the first 2 months is beginning to show its true colors. They desperately need a legit ace at the top of the rotation because they don't really have one. Senga was that but he is out for at least a month with a hamstring.
Come on homie!!! All this and you still didn’t tell me. I guess I’ll continue the guessing game. My next guess would be Qatar and if not there then Oman because what else is left. Kuwait? They all seem equally bad places to be to me so yeah you’re right I’m definitely not interested in Arab cuntries
Hey, you stole my line, I always say to you “come on homie”.But anyway, you got it right now, it’s in the countries you mentioned. Interestingly enough, Techniec (not the rapper but the o.g from the forum) used to live in the country when he was a teenager. Which is kind of surprising because I’ve never met an Afghan there, but anyway Sccit says he’s still around over at the Coli but I couldn’t get added to the Coli I tried to sign up but no luck. It’s more than not being interested in Arab countries homie, I’m not sure if you are even interested in your own (o.g) country, the region or your country (Iran)
That’s why OPS is great cause it factors in walks. A lot of Sabermetrics guys say a walk is as great as a hit. That’s a pretty rough go to make it without having an Ace. But the next big question is how are the #4 and #5 guys in the rotation. I mean if they are solid then I guess you are okay without an Ace.
Ok so we narrowed it down but you still not giving me a clear answer. I’m just going to assume Qatar. And of course I’m interested in Iran. I’ve been following what’s happening there pretty closely. Wishing for a quick exit for the disgusting Islamic regime and a free Iran so I can go back and take my family.
we finally broke out hitting 7 home runs last night our 4 and 5 guys are basically average pitchers who were pitching beyond their capability the first 2 months...we have one prospect who is in AA named Jonah Tong who people are comparing to Tim Lincecum so there's thathttps://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckmurr/2025/06/02/new-york-mets-prospect-jonah-tong-pitching-like-tim-lincecum/
Yeah that’s problem with #5’s they can have a good month and then go in the tank. Sounds like they are in a rough patch but maybe they adjust soon, and I’m all for skipping a level if your guy is ready I’m double AA there have been several players who skipped AAA and had success right away. But yeah it does sound like you got pitching problems, cause it sounds like you don’t have a clear top or bottom of the rotation.
and to make matters worse one of our top pitchers this year Griffin Canning looks like he tore his achilles last night well at least we won 2 in a row and are back in 1st so there's that
damn .. people tearing achilles in baseball now too? this once rare injury been making its rounds.
