Our bullpen strikes again…Royals just tied the game

Higheyecue, I’m callin you out??  I’ve already fired off 4 legendary posts to spark the Mets Royals 3 game set and you MIA homie…

Come holla at ya boy don’t leave me hangin’ and swangin’ when we sposed to be bangin’ and swangin’

Ha I’m here…Wacha impressed me, he’s a different pitcher than he was with us that wasted Covid season

though it might be a combination of his pitching and our struggling hitting the last couple of games

I knew Wacha was with the Cards, and quite good with the Cards but I didn’t know he was with the Mets.  He’s always been good with the Royals so I’m just finding out he didn’t do so well in NY?

Instant Reaction to Loss:

Well I felt we lost the game when India was too pussy to run home with his legs after the 3rd basemen stepped on his hand and then when Segma outclassed Cags — I gave up.  So to see them fight back with Bobby Baseball ⚾️ I’m actually taking a moral victory from this one.

For your side homie, I was just really impressed with Segma.  The hitting at the end off Estevez was impressive too because Estevez has been our closer this year and he’s an alpha so you gotta be big time if you wanna win off him and that’s what the Mets did.

Aside from India being a pussy, I just tip my cap to the better team.  Props to HighEyeCue and his Mets.

yeah I don't know if I put much stock into Wacha with the Mets because he was only here that one Covid 60 game season...but he was pretty bad

yeah Senga is especially tough with runners on base, he really bears down...its a shame he had that little injury that caused him to miss about 3 or 4 starts or he would have qualified for the MLB ERA lead

we also lucked out in this series by not facing your 2 best starters this year, Met legned Seth Lugo and Bubic

Wacha's so consistent, I'm surprised he had a bad year with the Mets, he doesn't even have like brief periods where he slumps, he's like the same guy every month.  We locked him up for like a 3 year extension as soon as we saw how good he was last year.

You're going to be impressed—all of our starters are good!  Of course, you are right, Lugo and Bubic are the best, and I know Lugo's your guy, he used to be with the Mets.  But all are good, so every game is winnable for the Royals just because of our pitching.  Doesn't mean we will win, we will probably get swept, but pitching keeps us competitive.

(Last year, all we needed was our pitching and Bobby Baseball did the rest.  In the summer months the guy just went on an insane tear where he basically accounted for nearly all of our runs and we got out to an insane lead in the wild card race and then his protection behind him Vinnie Paz got injured and Bobby was pedestrian for the end of the season)

yeah that Covid year was a joke anyway...waste of a season if you ask me

one thing about the Royals that hasn't changed in 10 years is that they put the ball in play...I remember our pitchers back then who were all young hard throwers having a hell of a time trying to strike anyone out...we really don't have anyone like that on this staff though

Game two was a dud.  But, as I told you our pitching kept us in it.  Tip the cap once more to Higheyecue and his Mets.

I like this kid you guys got Caglianone...I know he's struggling but him and Witt are going to be a lethal 1-2 combo in the years to come

as for the game Soto continues on a hot streak, he's finally putting up the numbers he's supposed to

good series Infinite 8)

you weren't lying about your pitching, it will keep you guys in the WC hunt all season...and we didn't even face your 2 best guys

hey what's up with Cole Raagans, still hurt? he looked like a CY Young pitcher when he faced us last year

Yeah ended up being a pretty series, save for one snoozer in the middle.  I’m glad you caught that about our pitching.  Noah Cameron is one of our 3 big breakout guys this year.  Mikeal Garcia, Kris Bubic, and Noah Cameron were all 3 guys on the bubble coming into the year who have broke out this year.  Cameron might get the Rookie of the Year.

(Fun fact, he’s a local guy from small town St. Joseph, Missouri which is where Eminem is from and where his Great Aunt Edna always lived who he raps about and lived with a lot growing up and they did some local news stories about her and it was really cute cause they interviewed this old lady in 99’ and she was like “oh I don’t know much about it , but he was always a’rapppin but nothin doin, but boy when he started doing that Slim Shady, welp, welp, that about got them.”  ;D )

Sean Manea sure rings a bell.  He actually won a World Series for us without ever actually playing for us.  We drafted him and traded him for… wait for it… wait for it… it’s a name that’s gonna give you nightmares, a half season rent-a-player that destroyed your hopes and dreams in 2015 and then did the same thing with the Cubs the very next year getting a World Series MVP Ben Freaking Zobrist !!!!!

In my opinion—Manea—he’s like one of those slightly above average guys that can get overpaid in a big city like New York.  He gave up the game to the bottom of our order and let a .94 guy Tolbert we only use for pinch running single and score the winning run off him.

I’m sure you’re happy though to have Manea back healthy and his arm looked good for most of his outing.

…As for Ragans he’s had nagging injuries his whole career including this one, some even thought he’d be out for the season this year but he got a second opinion and he’s gonna try to give it a go after the All Star Break but who knows.  Not to mention, you know we also had Brady Singer (solid #3 starter for the Reds this year) but traded him for India?  That just shows you how stacked the pitching is in Kansas City.  That’s our winning formula, great pitching and then relying on Bobby Baseball on offense.

Can’t believe you guys got to our big dog Estevez not once but twice in the series—and with a pinch hitter!  Estevez is in the All Star game this week and you got to him twice!

funny thing about Zobrist is that we were one of the teams interested to sign him after 2015...I think the holdup was the amount of years he wanted...if we did he might have been the difference since we ended up making the WC in 2016 but losing to San Francisco

That guy was phenomenal and even better in big games.  For sure you guys should’ve just given him whatever he wanted because you would’ve won in 16’ with him.

I couldn’t believe the Royals were already returning ALCS champs in 15’, we started red hot and were in first place all year and then, and then….—and then at the trade deadline we got Johnny Cueto and Ben Freaking Zobrist!!  Are you kidding me!?!

By the way, correction, I accidently said Cy Young for Noah Cameron—I meant rookie of the year.

Yeah, these next 6 games are big for a lot of teams because the trade deadline coming up.  Are the Mets in the market to give up some prospects to help their post-season push?
