It’s your fault we didn’t make the playoffs this year and it’s your fault our season is over and you gave us false hope when any piece of shit off the bench could’ve been in your place and picked you up 100 more points of batting average and 5 more wins and kept us in the race and you failed us you piece of shit and now we still don’t know what to do next year for outfield cause we have no idea if you are the Triple AAA Barry Bonds or MLB Ryan Leaf bust you screwed us over and ended our season early!!! And now all we can do is wait for Sunday to watch the 0-2 Chiefs !!

but the Chiefs are in trouble I think...both the Ravens and the Bills have better teams in the AFC

I been telling you and Sccit and Dogg all year I think you big city boys will be just fine and make the playoffs…

…as for the chiefs if they get Rice and Worthy back they could still be pretty dangerous.  I’m not one of those greedy piece of shits—we’ve won 3 championships already with Mahomes, and we will be competitive, I’m just going to enjoy the year — we don’t have to win the Super Bowl every year for me to enjoy

yeah we probably will but it still kind of feels like a down year overall and I doubt we go far in the postseason

that's baseball for you.. its such a screwy game.  But even when he was supposedly "bad" this year his numbers never really looked horrible, he just wasn't up to that outrageous contract.  And to play up to a contract like that for an entire 162 is nearly impossible. 

It was the same with Bobby Witt Jr.  They were saying he had a down year and not up to his 300,000 mill contract or whatever he's got, but for a good defensive shortstop when you are hitting over .275 and with pop, and stealing bases, I don't know how people could be mad.   

Then eventually these guys get hot and next thing you know their numbers start looking closer to the projected numbers

...a bad Soto, or a bad Bobby Witt is .270 with pop.  So that's still alright... the real bust is Jac Cagliogne.  There's no argument for a .150 hitter.  Unless every one of those hits is a homer (which its definitely not) there's no argument for that.  He was supposed to be the next big thing and so far he's a bust

the Mets are now on the outside looking in with 6 games left....record wise they are even with the Reds but lose the tiebreaker

I love Soto but signing him limited what we could do with other moves especially the pitching staff

on the bright side we have 3 young starting pitchers who were called up in August who might be rotation staples next year

sorry mate... I know it sucks, but having a team in contention to the last couple days of a season still means an exciting year.  But yeah, postseason is so much fun it sucks to come that close and miss.

I'd actually rather be like the Royals and have a winning season, but know a week in advance we didn't make the playoffs then lose a playoff spot on the last day. Because then all winter I would be thinking about every 1 run game that we lost but could've won
