Yeah that looks hella suspect.  And even the two guys you are counting on still have a little question mark.  They are going to have to make a move.  There is no way you can expect to be a playoff team, and you are starting a season with only two starters you are confident in and then 3 other guys that you are giving an oppurtunity to.

I watched this video and they had to list a couple guys that they want to go out and get from other teams just to fill in the rotation.

I thought the Mets were a playoff caliber team but if they don't add one or two legit starters before opening day then they are in some serious trouble--I don't care how good the offense is.  There is a saying in baseball they say good pitching beats good hitting.  So they can have all the hitting in the world but if the starter on the other team is having a good day then good pitching beats good hitting.

yep exactly...hopefully they make these necessary moves during these weeks leading up to Spring Training

Weeks leading up to spring training?  Don’t you mean months?  Jan and Feb are dead things don’t pick up till March I think

I think the Mets pitchers and catchers report on February 12th…the rest of the team like a week later

I thought it was later than that but that's good news.

...I'm not used to "waiting" for spring training because for every year of Mahomes career as a starter the Chiefs have made it all the way till late January (AFC Championship) or into February (the Superbowl).

So the tradition in Kansas City in the Mahomes era is not to be thinking about baseball right now at all.

Yeah man, you got to start thinking about MLB by November...

...except there is another factor.  Kansas City doesn't have any NBA team since the Kansas City Kings moved to Seattle around the time I was born.  So at least in NY you have NBA teams there to follow in the winter.

Maybe it wasn't Seattle it was the Kings.  The Sacramento Kings.  The Bernard King and Mitch Richmond Sacramento Kings?  Then later the Vlade Divac Chris Webber Kings that almost knocked off LA?  Not sure.. I should know this stuff but like I said the move was before I was old enough to have a memory.

Don't know why I though it was Seattle

Yeah it was Sacramento. Or as you like to call it the bay. Might as well call Tahoe the bay too
