Track one killed it for me.  I was surprised they remixed that song.
For the most part, the general consensus was that track was HOT!  Why fuck with it if it aint broke?  Bizarre move...  The remix version gets NO SPINS up in here.

The rest of the album was hit and miss.

Kurupts track was coo.. but nothing special...
Crooked I And Eastwood on the title track... booty imo
but the track BALLIN was kinda hot... Get off the block has potential..  Ninas track did nothing for me...  (I expected more..)

Im not surprised although I do hope Crooks album is tight.  I just really hope that they have more to offer as a label.  Musically and professionally...

And this is probably your guys logic:

"Every album put out by Death Row is a masterpeice.  Deathrow can't put out shitty albums, its just impossible.  Every album they drop is a classic work of art, which is why Disfunktional Family is well on its way to having sold 50,000 copies by the end of the year."

Who is your guys? Don't put me in a catergory I'm just stating facts I'm sorry if what I said offended you but it's true. The natural theme of this board is to hate Death Row no matter what and believe everything Snoop or DPG is great. I didn't say it was a masterpiece so don't put words in my mouth. But it was alot better then Doggystyle all star and most of the wack shit Dogghouse has put out. Oh and now do record sales matter? I thought when Dogghouse releases was flopping left and right sales didn't matter? Some of you idiots need to make up your mind and stop judging music the wrong way because of who you like. I thought the soundtrack was decent but at the same time better then Dogghouse all stars.

hey jackass, I was one of the few people in this thread that said I liked the album and thought it was decent.  and what you stated about dpg/snoop/dogghouse it is the same fucking way with death row.  We got our Death row groupies on this board, and judging by your reaction, I would bet you are one of them.

Now did I insult you one bit? No need for getting mad you faggot ass faggot just because we don't share the same views moron. I gave my take of the post and that was that. I'm far from a death row groupie dumb ass, I stated that most of the people knowledge such as yourself do not go pass DPG. People like you on the internet is clueless as fuck and give west coast hip hop a bad name. You the one that sounds like a groupie and a moron with the brain size of a mustard seed.

p.s the only Die hard Row fan I see was Ready oppose to most of this board only knowledge of West Coast hip hop being DPG except for some who actually surport the west coast as a whole and listens to a variety of west coast artist from Jayo, Atl, C-Bo, E-40, Rass etc.

I just downloaded most of the songs from the soundtrack (basically the Crooked I songs) and I thought they were alright.  They were better than I thought.  Crooked I was dope throughout the album and I think Eastwood has some potential.  It was also nice to hear a Kurupt song which I thought was decent.  Overall it was better than I thought it would be.  If Deathrow could get some tight producers and get their shit together, they might be able to put out some good solo albums in the future.
