I highly doubt these DPG, Eastsidaz, or Kurupt albums happen without Snoop's influence. In fact, I'm pretty sure both Kurupt and Daz admitted WAWG happened when Snoop made the call. Tray Deee said something similar when the EP dropped. Most of these guys rely on his star power + guidance to get things cracking.

It's just the truth. Snoop can be a snake, I'm sure, but all these cats wait for his guidance to do anything of substance musically.

From the horses mouth - they were going for like 5 tracks EP before but they kept doing more tracks in the studio, that Fuzz and others heard it and asked them to keep going.

This is more personal interview, Kurupt explained fully what happened during his health crisis.

Appreciate we didn't lose this legend, music aside happy he now have a 2nd chance...hopefully he will never go back to those vices again.

there was indeed an album they were working on long before snoop even bought death row

snoop re-inspired them to move forward but it's not something he came up with
