I respect everyone's opinion

there's a couple of people on here who thought Missionary was dope

Count me in - Missionary is great for me.

I enjoyed this album for what it is, nothing 'bad' or skippable on here to be honest.....the transition from SPECIAL to MYSTIC RIVER is awesome....it's nice to have Kurupt on form, yes it would have been great to have Daz on this but hey.

Missionary in imho,  is better than the ‘Is It a Crime' album.

tbh I didn't even give that one a spin...Snoop is always good for a few bangers an album though

he had a recent album with only like 14 tracks I might give it a listen

Finally did my first listen.. maaaan this project is super dope! Like a 4.5/5. Or 9/10.

Battlecat crushed the production and Kurupt is totally on form.  We're so fortunate to have this project in 2026.

One of them would be me. I've heard much worse from Snoop, it was more Dr Dre for me that was disappointing but overall I like the album

Really nice project with a real funk/party vibe, Sneak Attacc is the perfect track to open the album after the intro.

It would have been great to have a couple extra tracks with that more aggressive flow like "Gunna" or a more introspective song, also a Daz & Kokane feature would have topped it off.

Oh and shame Survival wasn't on the album but I guess it wasn't produced by Battlecat.

Considering the fact that Kurupt is 54 years old, recently got out of a coma and got clean and healthy,  I will not critic this project as much , but it was a pleasant listening. Good vibes.

Snoop sounded sounded great...Dre's production did not

Battlecat still has it and I believe Dre does as well

he's not the GOAT for nothing but he may he have to get rid of ICU and find some better team

All the hook singers are incredible. Charlie Bereal, Jane Handcock, Blaqthoven, Butch Cassidy, and BJ the Chicago Kid add a lot to this album.

Also, the guest verses from Akeem Ali, Soopafly and D Smoke are dope!

The album is great.
I wonder why they didnt put the track with Ice Cube in here, that was supposed to be on the transition album?
Thats the only thing that could have made it even better.

I hope that the 3 songs they recorded but didn't make it onto the album will be on the bonus CD version

Posting here again......I'm so glad this album is being received well on here - given the circumstances (no daz, kurupts health etc). We are indeed blessed to have this release....a true summer album.....now I'm hoping for a full Eastsidaz project on DR with a nice budget for that production.
