I only liked a few songs on Compton.  I like most on Missionary.  I don't like too many features on an album, especially by these new boring artists.

Compton has so many problems to be fixed. Mastering issue, wack fillers, lots of skips, no integrity, even my favorite song "all in a days work" has potential but they couldnt arrenge and mix it the way it was supposed to sound way better. There is no hits or classics to take place in dre's discography.

Missionary is not as good as we all expected but there is an integrity, concept, even there are fillers no skips and there are a few hits and bangers.

To me its Missionart >>>> Compton. However both are under dre's standarts.

I’m shocked 😳

The album has no filler, in fact, there were a lot of solid leftover tracks that Dre played on that radio station he had at that time on Apple what was it called was it Beats1?   But they used to play a lot of exclusive leftover Dre material on that show for a few months after Compton was released I just can’t remember them all but I will look up some of those leftovers

How can you all not like the Premier and Anderson Pak cut?!?  Anderson Pak and Justus and Mez — those guys crushed everything they were on!!

Premier track was 10 out of 10
Game’s “Another Day” was 10 out of 10 and lifted the film as well
“Talking to my Diary” was 10 out of 10 and lifted the film as well.
“Deep Water” was 10 out of 10 and I’m not even a big Kendrick fan but his verse was spectacular
Bone remake “Love of Money” was 10 out of 10 that track was bananas

You guys are crazy… I don’t how you all didn’t like this masterpiece.  Just to prove I’m being objective I will say I wasn’t that impressed with Jon Conner but or that Snoop or Cube joint but it’s not like those joints were wack or filler—they were still dope and produced to perfection

Ya’ll are crazy…

I don’t even like new music, like Rubin said I’m still stuck in 96’. But even I thought Compton was a perfect album

I tried to listen to Compton 3 or 4 times and never enjoyed anything on it.

Missionary is enjoyable to bump but I must admit that half the time I just put on the instrumentals when I'm doing work

Missionary hands down for me.

Still bumping Hard Knocks, Skyscrapper, Gunz n Smoke,Shangri-La, Sticcy Situation & Pressure.

A lot of people might be disappointed because of the high expectations of a Dre Produced Snoop album but beats Compton for me easily.

Genocide, issues, just another day, for the love of money, satisfiction are songs i always skip.

its all on me, good song but, something missing.
all in a days work, fucking good song, it could have been better.
darkside/gone is a banger. both songs.
one shot one kill is a good filler. its a good song.
animals is a classic to me.
medicine man, hmmm, something missing again.
talking to my diary, good song, we all agree.

thats what i think about the album overall, there are few good songs but thats it. its so messy, its so dem jointz, its so focus.., its so non-dre for me.

Aftermath compilation beats Compton compilation soooo bad for me. i never go back and listen to any stuff from "compton" but i still keep listening to songs from aftermath compilation.

“Compton” by far…“Missionary” was so disappointing that I have no desire to revisit it

Both albums have flaws.

Compton has almost no laidback funk vibe - it is a fucking skyzo panic experience and has a lot of horrible tracks- talk about it, genocide, satisfiction. It is just too much going on: vocally and beatwise.

Missionary has a more laidback funk vibe/ 70’s early 80’s blaxploitation. But it has outta da blue and thank you which kill the vibe of it as a full album - both are utterly wack to me. I hate ‘watermelon fantasy’ and i hate that punjabi bollywood arpeggio and both hooks.

Compton - 2 great tracks stay on repeat for 10 years now. (All on me and Diary).
And about 2/3 ok joints i still enjoy every now and then. (Animals, Darkside, For the love of money)

Missionary - 4 great tracks on repeat (Hard Knocks, Skyscrapers, Sticky Situation, Now or never).
And about 4/5 ok joints (Intro/Shangri la, Fire, Negotiator, Another part of me, Gorgeous/Mary Jane).
The missionary instrumentals are a nice addition.

Missionary wins.

Only snoop lost his touch with the olympics, the trump support and the mediocre last album. Has he really become a clown?

I would definetly bump a Compton instrumental lp though, i think without the vocals it would be more accessable to listen to.

And Dre should release a Relapse instrumental album, so a great rapper like Rakim, Masta Ace, AG or so can get the chance to murder those beats, and put some proper hooks on it.

I like Compton better I thought it had better replay value. Although to be fair to missionary I haven’t gone back to give it another chance yet

I like both albums but like others said they both have their flaws and Dre's voice on Compton put's me off, sounds so forced like he's constipated.

Snoop sounds really good on Missionary and to me the album is more cohesive where Compton sounds messy and probably would have benefited from cutting the track list down.

Snoops album could have used more DPG/Death Row features and Dre's album would have been better without King Mez, Justus and Dem Jointz.

Compton starts off really bad and chaotic with Talk About It where Missionary slides straight into a smooth track with Shangri-La.

Both albums have some greats tracks but if I have to choose one for me it's Missionary.

Bone remake “Love of Money” was 10 out of 10 that track was bananas

It was originally a Yomo & Maulkie beat with Jewell on the hook that BTNH re-did.
