first of all, there are jews of all races ..

the most prominent in israel are mizrahi jews (middle eastern)

the most prominent in america are ashkenazi jews (european)

but Judaism is an ethnoreligion .. meaning you can tell if people are jewish based on dna

all jews share the same gene that connects them to the levant via the israelites

ashkenazi jews have less of this gene due to spending thousands of years adapting to europe (food, weather, culture) and intermixing with the europeans over time

but at the end of the day, a jew is a jew

so the reason they look more white .. 1.many of them intermixed with europeans, meaning they actually do have some white ancestry 2.many of them evolved in europe via spending thousands of years adapting to the weather, food, and overall culture

i think everything i said just went over your head

unlike christians and muslims, jews don't proselytize, which is why there's a jewish gene tied to the levant

we've generally been able to maintain our own distinct genetics, hence why a 23andme or ancestry.com testing includes "jewish" genetics in their terminology

so while a convert will not have the jewish gene, a vast majority of jews do, since converts are rare in our religion

for instance, by halakha (jewish law) a rabbi has to turn you down 3 times before agreeing to convert you .. and after that it's approximately a 3 year process of grueling work to complete conversion, which most don't ever complete  .. unlike christianity who forced their religion on the masses, and muslims who convert people with one sentence, and much of the time by force or coercion

that's why judaism is considered an ethno-religion .. look it up if u don't believe me

meaning, yes, there are jews of various races (black, middle eastern, hispanic, white etc.) .. but the ones who aren't converts (the vast majority) still have a jewish genetic makeup that ties them together.. race is a made up social construct to begin with, but just like steph curry and michael blackson share a black gene while basically appearing as 2 different races due to intermixing and societal adaption, jewishness is the same.
