Hey, he's making money.  He's 50 years old, at some point you don't care about a legacy anymore, what good is a legacy after you're dead?  It probably costs this man next to nothing to churn out new music.  He's got the set up and everything he needs.  And even if he only sells a small percentage of CDs or a small amount of downloads, it's all free money for him.  He can either sit on his ass and watch reruns of Gilligan's Island all day, or he can hook up his USB headset to his computer and whip out a song in 10 minutes that might generate him a couple thousand dollars.  Seems like a no brainer decision.
