I'm back in again!!Royals still have a really bad record but the young guy I've agonized over these last two years has finally put it together. Jac Caglione is on fire!! To have a young guy on a rookie contract playing this well is huge for any team. On the open market these kind of guys are generating 100 Million dollar contracts these days. So that's basically like he just gifted the Royals 90 Million Dollars. It reminds me of when Mahomes was still on a rookie contract, he had a great team around him with big money guys and the Chiefs were dominant. I'm not saying the Royals are gonna make the playoff or anything but it's enough to keep watching.
unfortunately for me the Mets are unwatchable right now...6 errors in last nights game all by the infield...with an almost 400 million dollar payrollits not like the Jets will be any better this year either with the news that Geno Smith hits his girlfriend more than he does his receivers
I don't know how the Jets could be this sorry for this many years
Woody Johnson might be the worst owner in the NFL...I doubt he knows anything about football and keeps on hiring incompetent GMs who then hire incompetent coaches...and don't get me started on their draft picks
^^As soon as I made this post the Royals dropped 3 straight games, and Jac Cag went 0-16 in those games, and last night we lost 22-1 to the White Sox
increase that to 5 games and 0-25
..and now he got injured, and is on the DL... my pain is worse than yours Mets Fans
we have exactly the same record 35-50but our payroll is more than twice as much as the Royals
That's unbelievable... so was my o.g prediction for your season correct??Remember what I predicted was I said that you all were going into a long season with only 2-3 certifiable starters and 2 questions marks that may or may not perform. Plus, starting pitchers often don't make it through a whole season without injuries. So is that still the case? In your starting 5 rotation you have 2-3 games where you feel comfortable in the week and then 2 other games where your starter doesn't give you confidence that you can win?
yeah you were right...Nolan McLean has been the one constant but even he's been inconsistent at timesthe trade for Freddy Paralta has been a complete bust...so much so that his trade value is almost nill...at this point I would cut him just to get rid off him...and this dude is looking for a 200 million plus contract at the end of this yearClay Holmes was our most consistent starter but he went down in May with a leg injury and is probably out till Augustso basically we have McLean, Peralta, and Manea in the rotation...the other 2 days we have an opener for an inning or 2 and then a bulk guy comes in for the majority, usually a guy like a Senga who was 0-7 with a 9.00ERAas a starter this yearOh and our manager was fired about a week ago
Infinite I'm going to the game on Thursday afternoon against the Royals Ill have a report on what I saw afterwards
