Has Daz personality changed from Death Row days??

Is it just me or wasn’t he like a laid back, calm, collected, mature character with style back in the Death Row mid-90’s era.  Look at him in his first video “Doggy Dogg World” he was a totally smooth and refined character.

Now he’s got this wild, grimey, disorganized, overweight, loud, obnoxious persona.

People get old, their personalities change.  My older relatives don't have the same personalities as when they were younger.  Some become loud grumpy old men, some get real quiet.  Just cause these guys are celebrities, the slow mental deterioration that comes with age should still be expected.

I think Daz has always had a shade of that ADHD personality but there was just no social media back in the 90s. There's that clip of him calling into the radio yelling at Eazy.

Rapping-wise he was way more laid back in his DR days. I like that daz much better.

Kurupt's character was at it's best was captured on film in the Show documentary.  He was totally balanced at that time.  Like, when the focus was on Snoop, or it was Daz turn to talk, or Nate, he would chill in the cut.  Then when it was his time to speak, he's articulate and adds his bit of two cents, but doesn't have any need to over-indulge or extend himself.  He looks healthy, probably because at that young age the body can withstand a lot of abuse without showing any wear and tear.

Because everything was being handled in those days for him.  Suge was taking care of all the business and keeping all pressures off of him.   Then you had Dre handling the music side so everything was being taken care of on the music side.  Snoop was inspiring the whole Dogg Pound and everyone was playing their role.  It was like the 96' Chicago Bulls.

Kurupt still had good character in 98' he just didn't have the same hunger and humility.  But you see him in BET interviews promoting Kurupt and he handles himself with class, character, style.   Daz was already starting to lose his marbles by 98' and starting to gain weight also.  Kurupt wasn't gaining weight by 98' he was actually starting to look really frail in the "We Can Freak It Video." 

I know it's not much but even little things like that could hurt Kurupt sales.  If he was looking fit and healthy in "We Can Freak It" he could have even gotten the female market cause that song was radio and video friendly.

This is true, his voice and flow definitely changed to a more higher-pitched, urgent delivery.

The same can be said of Ice Cube around 1996/97, when he started to stress his vowels in his raps like 2Pac was known to do.

It was as if in the Death Row days he had Suge's muscle behind him and so much attention was on Death Row, so Daz didn't need to scream and shout for attention.  All he had to do was lay in the cut, often in the background producing bangers, then lending his vocals whenever it would enhance the track, always picking the right spots, never complaining about not getting credit, always having Snoop's back.

Then... suddenly after the attention shifted away from Death Row by 98' he starts complaining about not getting enough credit, well he was always fine before?   How come we never heard that talk when Chronic was released?  When Doggystyle was released?  He didn't want to complain then.
