This may be the best G funk song this millennium…has that classic summertime, bbq sound we all grew up on.  This the type of shit I wish Warren would make in 2026






Also of interest, DOC does an interlude on another track on this album

The whole album is surprisingly really good, it's like an NWA tribute with all the samples.

I get what you are saying, but if anyone should be doing these types of songs, it’s Warren G, The Twins, Snoop, Daz, Foesum (who admittedly have managed to somewhat hold on to this sound).

Does this song have a specific sample from an old g-funk song?   At first, it reminded me of St Idea by Snoop and Nate
