it shows how out of touch I am with the current state of music that I haven't heard any of these albums

though a colleague of mine at work told me about that Necksnapper LP and said it was good but Canibus was the weak link...I might check that one out

i like this album. i like a lot. but there are some old tracks on it. the videos are repetative and simple.

"Objectively" cant be the best of the year.

I use "" cause i know there is no Objectively  in taste of art.

Album is pretty dope. I'm going to assume it's been thrown together over the last few years. Considering Kurupt probably wasn't as closely produced/monitored on this album like he was by Battlecat, his verses are quite dope. He didn't get lazy or anything. Very stellar project.

Has more of an NY sound, but obviously not a surprise with Rakim and Masta Killa involved.

just heard it, yeah dope album but different from the one with Battlecat

I just wish Rakim was featured more on the rapping end of things

Music is subjective, I don't expect everyone to feel music the same way I do.


Tales From My Hood is my favourite and most played album of 2026 so far.

After that is Documentary III and Gentlemen's Club.


One thing for sure, West Coast came out with a lot project this year.

But Kurupt takes it for me
