Think back in real time.  Think to even before Pac joined Death Row—when it seemed like the perfect match because they were all homies and Pac had the same energy and class.  And you heard "All About U" and "2 of Americaz Most Wanted".  And you would see them making their rounds together in videos and interviews.

It was just like Jordan and Pippen.  Now tell me that back then you didn't think they had homie love and were like brother equals at the top of the game.

This made me think....I rewatched some Bomb1st footage of Pac recording Worldwide Dime Piece for the One Nation album, and of course Snoop is there doing the outro.  Snoop is asking Pac if that was good, Pac said yes and mentioned he appreciated Dogg hopping on and doing that for him.  Very cool, calm, friendly, legit interaction.  That was recorded June 15th, 1996.

Clearly they at least still had love for and respected each other.  Again, maybe not best friends, but I don't think they ever were to be honest.  So unless this intense hate came within the last 2 months before Pac's death, i think maybe the amount of 'hate' Pac had for Snoop was blown out of proportion.  I do think Pac was frustrated a bit that he was staying neutral in the Biggie beef, but many people around Pac were staying neutral.  Also makes me curious because in the interviews about One Nation all the way up until his death, Pac was mentioning Snoop being on the album as one of the features and highlights.  Seems like if Pac really started to despise Snoop, he would've removed him from that outro and stopped mentioning he was going to be on the album.  And possible the song UNTOUCHABLES was slated for that album as well.  Why keep Snoop on there if Pac hated him?

Yep 👍 Knew I could count on the older O.G z at the forum that remember the energy then.  And that's not fake energy at the House of Blues either.  That is genuine love as homies who are winning the championship together.

It ain't Shaq and Kobe at all because those two guys are different eras and energies.  Pac and Snoop are nearly age mates and Snoop and Frank (PAC's bodyguard) have also mentioned those nights when Pac and Snoop would get the two penthouse apartments and there would even be nights when just the two of them would go thru a pound of weed together and just bond with each other the whole night

And this was in the very last days of PAC's life.  So PAC didn't live to either make up or fully fall out with Snoop.  And as far we know from the Mike Tyson fight Pac was still riding for Death Row and Snoop was still riding for Death Row and it was all being handled internally.

I'm not going to argue that they wouldn't have fallen out soon if Pac lived.  But them being homiez from way back in the Poetic Justice days to having a manly disagreement for a few days — you still have to conclude that they were homies and loved each other as equals at the top of the game and status only few will ever know

I still maintain though that that incident happened in PAC's very last days — so it would be like if Jordan and Pippen won 6 championships together and road the back of the bus together every day as the lead dogs 🐕 talkin shit on Wennington and Scott Burrell, Jerry Krause.   And then let's say at the award ceremony back in Chicago Pippen made some comments that pissed off Jordan and then Pipp died a few days later. 

Thats just a few days of argument amidst an otherwise deep brotherhood and friendship

i actually vividly remember the night pac died because it was Rosh Hashanah (Jewish holiday) and my uncle who put me up on the classix came over n told us Pac didn't make it.

I agree.  It was a minor disagreement that ultimately would've led nowhere.  As i said, Pac was pushing the One Nation album all the way until his death, fully advertising appearances by Snoop.  If Pac truly hated him at that time, he would've had Snoop removed from it. 

Snoop was never a rider.  He rode for Dre in the Ruthless beef, but even by 94, Snoop had pretty much stopped.  Dogg Pound continued to ride, dissing Bone and BG Knoccout and Dresta on the Dogg Food album and What Would You Do.  Snoop was pretty quiet after Doggystyle.  Dre left, and you know he was still in Snoop's ear, telling him Death Row is becoming too dangerous, you're gonna get killed, etc.  Snoop got scared, so he began towing the line of "I like everyone" and it became even more apparent after Pac died. 

Lady of Rage told Pac she wasn't gonna diss, and Pac was frustrated but didn't go out and talk shit about her.  He just stopped fucking with her.  Most likely same thing would've happened with Snoop.

To be fair, you don't know what Pac felt, you don't know what was in his mind.  You keep posting things saying 'pac felt this way, pac felt that way'.  Just like they say in court, you can only attest to how you feel, not how anyone else feels.  Repeated interviews from Pac's friends say he was a hothead.  He got mad at many of his friends over the years.  The fight with Kurupt in Cabo.  If Pac would've died the next day, you'd be on here saying he hated Kurupt.  Depending on who you believe, Pac was squashing the beef with Nas right before he died.  He was mad at almost all the Outlawz through different time periods, hence why there are groups of songs where certain Outlawz weren't featured because one of them went back to Jersey upset....only for them to reunite a month later and make music together again.  His beef with Quincy Jones over the white woman comment, he made peace with him.  List goes on and on.
