you think I'm hatin on Cube like I hate on the Bay -- just because I said once that I really only bump his singles. That's not hate, I just think his album cuts are over-rated, and his ability to carry a whole album is over-rated.  But the dude can obviously make bangers, and has been a part of classic groups and boosting a lot of other artists/groups songs

it's okay, Cube will get there eventually, at least he's trying and he's made some good effort over the years as a rapper

I swear from when it came out was the dayz I used to just hang out at the record store all day after school.  Blockbuster (Music store) would let you sit at a listening station and listen to albums.

So I thought, what the hell, "Rhymes like Weight" is a banger, and Ice Cube seems like a rapper who is giving it a good try, and so me being the nice guy that I am I gave the rest of the album a chance...

What did I find...

"Ask About Me" was a sick ass joint!  How would I know that if I had not listened to any of the album cuts?

you went into it thinking you'll "give it a try" and that you were "being nice" for checking a new cube album ... you weren't hyped for it, so you weren't guna like it regardless, because you're an energy driven dude, and your energy was likely low when u listened to it.
