Lol when is self incrimination necessary? Only scenario I can think of is if you're trying to save someone else from doing time by implicating yourself. No guarantees there either lol.

i mean it's never necessary but sometimes it happens with being careless, leaving traces, etc. etc.


in this situation, there was no evidence linking him to the crime that he slipped up n left behind

Nah...there was plenty of evidence.  Most people who were deep into it already knew Keefe was the man behind it, this was simply a formality.    It finally took people willing to go after him and people actually willing to talk to get the job done.  Evidenced by how quickly and easily the case went.

He got addicted to the internet attention and started revealing more and more as the interviews went on. Absolute moron, but a very entertaining journey we've all seen, ending with some much needed justice.
