Special Olympics 2003 -Ireland
« on: June 22, 2003, 03:06:57 PM »
The biggest international event of the year was launched in front of an 80,000 sell-out crowd in Croke Park, Dublin, last night. The special olympics will last one week and is expecting to attract large crowds. This is the first time it has been outside of the states and last night marked the pinacle for Irish sporting events. Never before has such an event been seen in Ireland. Lets hope you all support your athletes.
Attending last night were muhommed ali, roy keane, nelson mandela, u2, bon jovi, heather locklear, colin farrell etc etc
