All I'm saying is that no player wants to be known as the best player never to win a championship. Including the Mailman.

i say get payton....fuck malone, get a young forward or one with some more years in him like Jamal Mashburn, hell what would be THE BEST FIT would be to get Jermaine O'neal or Alanzo and leave Payton and malone alone. you got a solid PG in fisher. ain't like we're going to resign horry. also to free up $ just ask fox to retire then offer him a coaching posistion. that's what i'd do if i was Mitch.

he wouldnt work with the lakers...theyre too young for him...and he wouldnt be a leader..think about it...hes lead the jazz for years...what does he look like followin kobe and shaqs lead?...it wouldnt work...not to mention he wants that scorin title...and if payton comes...thats one more set of hands the ball has to touch consistently...too many egos...they would more than like end up like the Portlan Trailgangsters...

O'Neal is going to stay with the Pacers so he can get the touches that he wants per game. Alzono is most likely going to sign with Dallas.
