Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Its kool to expose Phil. But shit if you're a true phil fan you would have copped this. I Copped all Three of his mixtapes Smokefest, Hulk Steady & Steady Aromatic. I also have D Bo series Vol 1. They're only 10$ a piece. It aint that much.

defari feat. e-swift - inner city
mitchy slick feat. phil da agony, chace infinite - trigger side
planet asia - avocado jumpsuits freestyle
phil da agony feat. bad azz - freestyle
dilated peoples feat. prodigy - thieves
self scientific - give me life
chace infinite feat. phil da agony - the obvious
krondon feat. phil da agony - trilogy

these are the highlights of the mixtape imo.

although phil da agony wasnt on his own mixtape that much, he did drop hot ass verses. his verse on the freestyle with bad azz was tite, but bad azz outshined him like a mother fucker

Isn't the profit of mixtapes next to nothing? I always though pretty much all the income goes to covering the printing of the CD's, the cases, the covers etc... People don't mixtapes to make money. They put out mixtapes to make people aware of their material, maybe hoping to catch a live gig, record deal or sumthin' like that...

Dope mix-tape... 8)
Only complaint: is Clue-itis
All Dj's should shut the fuck up & play their roles.
Just spin the records, or spitt a verse already...lol

I pretty sure they profit. If they were lossing money, they wouldn't put one out. Phil and Krondon sell there mixtapes for 10$ a piece. The most it cost to make that shit would be no more than 5$. They have CD-Rs as a cd. They don't officially press them up. All they get is the artwork which there really is none. So Phil does profit from this mixtape.
