Thanks G.... whats the Dre intro?

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

rofl! You've sent me down memory lane on that one mate. Our Price wouldn't sell it to me 'cause of the 'explicit lyrics' sticker - had to get me dad to go with me to pick it up. Reckon I could probably go word for word too  ;D

Oh yeah, I bumpeth Kam's Made In America  :)

Good luck on 5150 - Got mine when it was released on cassette through mail order, and I've actually never seen an OG copy anywhere then or since. Let's be brutally honest though - it's a collection-completer, not classic material. I remember receiving it in the post and thinking "five tracks? wtf?" Merry Xmas is good for a laugh though.

Up next - Damien Rice's O - acoustic Irish singer/songwriter. Beautiful stuff.
