Paris feat Kam - Ain't No Love (Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg Diss?)
« on: August 26, 2003, 11:26:51 AM »
listen to the intro of it.... on an old Ice Cube song there's an intro that says "This is a story about a dog who chases his tail" while Paris's says "This is a story about a dog who doesnt keep it real". It would make sense because Kam is on it. He also says something about Corleone (Snoop's nickname) and says he was around before the "Bow wow wow yippy yo yippy yays". I could be wrong but if i'm right it makes sense.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Well the "This is a story..." line could also mean Snoop, since it talks about a dog. But shed some light on the issue for a fella who don't know - why would Kam diss Snoop?

if he just wanted attention he would have just called out his name, subliminally dissing him is not for attention. It was not Kam who dissed him BTW, it sounds like Paris.
