If i was Malone......i would go to LA ........do what Clyde Drexler did with Houston!  Drexler couldnt do it with portland and finally he went with Hakeem and BANG!!! he got his ring!!
Malone is good.....but he needs to leave Utah if he really wants at least a ring!!!  Hopefully he won't bust a Barkley and join tooo late!!!

Yeah, he does that like every summer, but.. for real.. Utah is dead, and they already have a sensation to replace him, Kirilenko. So maybe this will be the right time, who knows. I really hope so. The best center ever with the best power forward ever with the most sensational SG ever (i mean.. at 23 years old, with 3 rings).... and.. mmmmm.. best team ever? Lakers def need a PF, so Malone will start, but he'll have Horry on his back. That's a great situation for Malone.

PLUS... SURE RING! ;)

Would be a Mad move, but wouldn't Malone be a bit lost without stockton they like a machine together.

Also isn't Malone getting old now?  Retirement must be coming along for him soon?

Would make an awesome Lakers team though.

we'll see next year...and than youll remember Sccit was the first one too tell yall, and youll regret not beliving me...

Why wouldnt they pic him up? He was probably a free agent and he didnt want to end his career without a ring, so he decided "where should I go? hmm, I know...The greatest team in NBA history...the Lakers. Now I can finally get a ring and retire in peace"...I mean the Lakers do need a Power Forward, and if they dont, they'll just keep him as a back-up like they did with Mitch Richmond (which I highly doubt since nobody is qualified to start over Malone)...
