I might be the only one but I really love the beat Dre did for Truth Hurt's "Jimmy". It's really simple but supports her vocals perfectly.

Man, I love that too! And to think I was the only one...

But to recommend songs, why don't ya get his 2001 album and get a good start. Classic shit, all produced by him & Mel-Man (except the last track). Damn, there's so many good songs... Matter of fact, it would be easier to list his productions that AREN'T worth listening to. And there ain't that many.

Go to the Vault board (another part of this forum here, find it on the main page) and you'll see a thread that has all of Dre's productions listed. Just start collecting those. Shouldn't be too many you don't like.

You aren't the only one. Definitly a hot track that mixed with her sound very very well.

I also thought his beat for Phone Tap was hot. Well, that and 99% of his other beats :)

That JD diss track he did on Ems last album was about the only dre beat I didn't like lol.

Kurupt feat Dr. Dre "Ask Yourself a Question" often gets overlooked.

D12 - "Fight Music"
Devin The Dude - "It's A Shame" <------ personal favorite
Snoop Dogg - "Lay Low"
The Firm - "Firm Fiasco"
Xzibit - "Best Of Things"

"Phone Tap" would be the hottest beat Dre had made after leaving Death Row - if it weren't sampled. (That's really JACKED).  ;)
