not sure what the situation was there for time etc... but it was done live in person, so that may have had a big effect on it in comparison to the others which have been over the phone. sure SGV can clear up how long he had with them etc when he's around.

Know what you mean - I woulda been fucking intimidated sitting there with three big-ass bastards like that, clutching my lil dictaphone or notepad or whatever! But SGV did us proud - thanks for the link.

Time was an issue. I was bottom of the barrel, importance wise. They had me there as they were moving things in. It was loud as fuck, Ridd wasn't there, Monsta O was quiet, Godfather slurs his speech, and some chubby black lady from Rolling Stone hopped right on the couch with Booyaa while I was interviewing them. They started talking to her. Pretty much I had 15 minutes to interview them, but with the interuptions, Kobra's cell phone ringing, etc. it didn't come out exactly how I wanted it. Plus, they weren't too elaborate on their answers. Don't ask me why, they just didn't understand the questions sometimes.

nice, too bad Ridd wasn't there

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
