A new Tupac tribute mix CD is about to drop - on September 13, the anniversary of the slain rapper's passing. Compiled by Producer/DJ Green Lantern (who spins for Eminem on tour) the mix CD features a collaboration between Bounty Killer and Tupac, with Wayne Marshall also guesting on the track.

"The track is crazy, it's gonna be huge," said Green Lantern. "It's the biggest track on the whole CD - that's whassup!"

Green Lantern added that the track is voiced over the Bonecrusher beat and features a verse from Pac.

"The CD will promote a new project taht is coming out on Interscope," explained Green. "Interscope are getting ready to drop their latest Tupac album of new material. That is going to be crazy. That album is the last of the unreleased Tupac vocals and they gave them to some big producers to f**k with."

Green Lantern, responsible for the big D-Block tune (Guns Up) currently tearing up the airwaves, also produced a track on the Interscope album.

"Eminem got carried away with the Tupac project," said Green. "He can't produce more than 2 or 3 tracks, but he has done 13. Em says he wants to make it difficult for Interscope to choose other tracks over the ones he has done."

Being released at the same time as the new Tupac album will be a new film/documentary that is, in typical spooky post-death Makavelli style, narrated by Pac himself.

"It's almost scary how that sh*t works," said Green. "Pac is narrating the movie as it goes along, yet he been dead like 7 years."

thats what I'm saying, fuck jonny j, quik, QDIII, darryl harper and all those other wack ass producers pac got down with. I think jazze pha, eminem and neptunes should handle it from now on maybe manny fresh too. while were at it crooked I should be mixed into more songs fuck daz and snoop, eastwood is the greatest rapper anyways.
