I'm luvin the BC beats, and this bootleg is straight heat imo.  of course my opinion is biased because tray deee and goldie loc are my fav rappers at the moment.  I was a lil dissapointed with the track they did w/ ren tho, I expected more from that collabo.  and I gotta say I like the eastsidaz much better w/o snoop.

Word, would have expected harder shit from a REN ft. ES collabo..
Hopefully, there will be added some heaters to the retail, and hopefully a few tracks with "outhouse" producers..

Evidence
When did you become an Evidence fan? Either way, that would sound pretty shitty. His beats are too underground, nothing remotely gangsta about them.

Just been bumpin this today.. Bacc On The Blocc.. altho played out to some is the only song thats really stuck in my head.. (hummed it all the way to starbucks and back, and was tapping the beat on the table while i was there... ) theres a lot of 'smooth gangsta shit' on this.. but nothing much to get ya moving... but i'm more impressed than i was after my first impressions the other day

How did this hit the streets? What you have there is some older songs I think. Quik has a song on the CD.

it leaked.. as always.. ;)   and of course its not final, it even says so in the notes that came with it, i think one or two of the tracks arent final mixes either, they sound unmixed.

nima called battlecat and they were majorly suprised this had leaked...

the reason why/how shit leaks is this.

record company 'insiders' have this stuff, they hook up with internet ripping groups and in exchange for leaking their labels exclusives they get other peoples stuff in advance too.. so its most likely someone in TVT needs their ass kicked. esp since this is a promo, and not the final product. either that or if the promo was pressed at a plant, the groups have insiders in them places too.. its hard as hell not to leak stuff in this age... of course there are 'tactical leaks' too.. which come in two flavours. 1) to destroy another labels chances, if you leak your rivals stuff yours has a better chance. 2) leaks for promotion (like mixtapes)

Naww, Evidence is Alchemist Jr., imo.. Eastsidaz sounds heated over Alchemist beats.
Nothing is "too underground" for Eastsidaz, they're working with some totally unknown (and untalented) crips some times..

So, he's Muggs the 3rd? Na. Eastsidaz sound good on Alchemist beats, because he produces for that style. The hardest artist Ev has produced for has been Defari  ::)

Not knocking Ev, because he got much talent, but his sound is tailormade for the backpack type rappers. There's a difference between Underground(Dilated, Aceyalone) and Independent(The foos the Eastsidaz work with). All those Gangsta acts aren't Underground, they're indi.

Same deal.. they're more "under ground" than all of these underground rappers tryina rap.

Btw, Evidence produced "Big business" for Frost ft. Xzibit & Jayo Felony..
That would have been perfect for Tha Eastsidaz..
If he could come up with something like that again..

Fred Wreck did that beat homeboy. Ev used the same sample for "Spell My Name."
