G'd up.  I was just listening to it today for the first time in a year or so, and that really was a good track.  Nice beat, great verses by all 3, cool lil butch cassidy bridge, hard hook.

"G'd Up" is a classic. All the verses were fire, the beat was arguably the best beat from the West Coast since it's reign in the early 90's. The video was even a classic.

"I Luv It" is a great song but it's not close to "G'd Up" IMO.

I was just thinkin about this today.

This is what I notice....most people on the internet like G'D up.

But in L.A., especially for those who c-walk or clown walk, we prefer I Luv it. I Luv it is personally my favorite west coast song since the death row era....even above all the songs on 2001. Tha beat gets us pumpin like a mafucka on tha west. G'D up was a classic, but I luv it was tha spring and summertime anthem and party song of tha year back in 2001. Also, I Luv it came out jus about the same time the clown walk came out, and this was tha song of choice because tha tempo is perfect. And I luv it beats harder and is more of a party track overall. I like the verses and chorus of G'd up better tho. Also, I Luv it is jus a landmark song for me......but thas about it

I was personally really let down by Deuces and Trays - Tha Eastsidaz had a classic West Coast vibe to it that I kinda felt was missing from the second one. D&T started with a bunch of fucking dope tracks ('I Luv It' to 'Welcome 2 Tha House' are all four or five out of five tracks IMO) but the second half of the album was weak.

As for the two tracks, 'G'd Up' shits on 'I Luv It' for me, but that's more to do with 'G'd Up' being incredible than 'I Luv It' being wack -they're both great, but 'G'd' is really, really great ;)

I never really felt "G'd Up". The video was gangsta, and they spit it pretty good, but I didn't like the beat at all. I definitely wouldn't consider it a classic. On the other hand I love "I Luv It". Great song all around. They should've switched videos for the 2, cuz I didn't like that whole football theme. I still bump "I Luv It" regularly.
