I never head of that shit before. I live in N Hollywood/Burbank are and we dont have any crips around here.  What part of LA do the Neighborhood crips stay at?

and whats wit this black? now crips are wearing black? wtf?

LOL....thas no problem with that tho, the fact u don't kno bout this means u haven't been around it much which means u must live a lot more comfortable. What race are u?

Neighborhood Crips is a group of sets that are all tied together, even tho some of em have beef with each other still. It's maybe 20, 30, or more sets that are from Neighborhood. It gets complex as hell. Neighborhood is in L.A., Compton, Lynwood, Long Beach, and probably in other cities but thats where I kno they are for sure. Like Nate Warren Snoop Goldie Daz Snoop's gang Rollin 20s Long Beach, Kurupts CJ Macs Rollin 60s, Jayo's Rollin 40s, WC's 111s.

Well..bloods and crips wear black, sometimes u can't really tell if they are crip or blood because they might wear it to be undercover for the time. But u can tell jus because u might see a grip of crips and half have on blue and white or similan, and a few might have on black and white. But other than that, different crip sets wear gold and black, some wear blue and grey, some wear baby blue and navy blue, some wear black and grey, hoovers, if u wanna call em crips, wear orange, some wear blue and gold, some wear purple, some wear green bandanas. But it's not like "he has on a blue and gold jersey, he's from main street then" or "he has on all lakers, he must be from grape st." its usually never like that.

I thought crips have diffent clicks and shit but them wearing a ny i have never heard that. I thought they would rep LA or some shit like that.

LOL I have been to Burbank but not in any neighborhoods, just the business area. For tha neighborhood, most of the neighborhood sets are streets that are named on street names, such as 20s, 40s, 60s, 90s, 111s. They mainly wear the NC hats tho. The 60s wear LA hats, but wearin a LA hat isn't signifying anything since we are in L.A., u know, because one gang can't claim an L.A. hat just because everybody wears em and it doesn't have significance. Like if u went to Burbank high, wearin a burbank high jersey wouldnt mean shit on your campus, but if everybody from a certain click was wearin Pomona high jerseys, then u would know who they are..got me?

Aww shit...well for whites I donno of any real white gangs. Hispanics are on some different shit. I am black so I don't kno a lot about their gangs or territories. But asians...most people don't believe me when I say there are some crazy ass asians gangs who'll stab u to death and shit. Carson has the most asian and somoan bloods, thas where boo ya tribe is from. Most asians are bloods to my knowledge. I don't think they are as much on gangbangin, territory, and colors. I think they are more organized and more on drugs and other shit. Hispanic gangs are similar to blacks but I donno about the names and all that but I kno they have some crip and some blood gangs.

I do like this...I am in FL for college now, but wherever I go outside of CA where I see bloods and crips, I already kno they are fake in one way or another, and I laugh, but not to their face. Because no matter how fake or stupid they may appear, they LOVE to prove themselves, and the only thing they need is to shoot or jump somebody from L.A. just to say they did. "I am a Texas/NY/etc blood but I shot/whooped somebody from L.A" as if it gives em clout.

I am from Gardena, Crenshaw/Van Ness and Rosecrans/135th. I am about 5 minutes from "South"-South Central where Southwest college is, and I am 5 minutes from Inglewood. So I kno just about everything that the typical dude in L.A. would kno as far as gangs, I'm not one of those outsiders who hasn't even seen gangs before but reads shit on the net and think they kno everything.

Pac was never huge, until he died. Ice Cube and Westside Connect were running L.A. at the time. E-40 had the Bay, as far as I'm concerned. But anyway.

About the C-Walk shit. Out here in the S.G.V. we only have Du-Roc, in Duarte, Neighborhood, in West Covina, and that's pretty much it. The rest is all Cholos. Basset, Azusa, Puente, NS BP, ES BP, etc. so C-Walking out here won't really matter. I'm sure if someone was C-Walking in Pasadena, where Bloods are deep, they would get got. At clubs, there's rarely Gangstas, unless it's Club Metro, but that shit's shut down. I'm almost sure if you're C-Walking in a Crip neighborhood, you're gonna get hit up. After that, anything can happen. They could give you a pass, or fuck you up. That's why I say, if you're not Cripping don't do it. It's not for you.

I would have to disagree about some of the stuff about Pac. It really depends on what time frame you are talking about. In 96, yes Westside connection was hot, but everyone and their mom was bumping All Eyez on Me up in Northern Cali for years. I believe from 95-96 Pac was the biggest thing, think California Love. Although it isn't my favorite Pac album, All Eyez on Me is probably the most influential rap album to date. Heck, it's sold the most.

Sales don't mean most influential. Most people won't even call AEOM the most influential Pac album. What I am sayin is that when Pac died, nobody was lookin as if the west coast was through. And also, everybody nowadays seems to think that Pac was the frontrunner from the west, mainly because of the "East Coast/West Coast" media bullshit that he was the head of. But he was throwin dubs up because of the West Connect, not vice versa. Lookin back u might say that Pac's death ended the west's era, but if u read my post about 8-10 posts ago in this thread that had 9 reasons, I think that had a lot more to do with the west's decline than just Pac's death alone.

The Pac death hurt, Biggie's death really hurt, because it was in L.A. Labels ran out of L.A. when that happened. They didn't want to be out here. So, they dropped all the West Coast artists, especially the Bay cats. Suge going to jail didn't help. Dre starting his own company, that started off real shakey didn't help. Snoop making an album with No Limit in 2 or 3 weeks really didn't help. Etc.

Oh and about Snooper Dooper. He is not some huge gang banger. The only reason why he's so "infamous" is because of who he is. If he was not famous, he'd just be another banger, not a shot caller. Someone like Keita Rock, that's a real gangsta who raps. He has stripes.
