Rest In Peace Jam Master Jay- 1 Year
« on: October 29, 2003, 07:06:11 PM »
Tommorrow marks 1 year (in my time anyways). Rest in peace, hip-hop wouldn't be the same without him.

Keep the negative comments out. (you know who you are)

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

damn if its been a year its gone well fast seem like only a few months ago it happenned. i wonder whose next cos the way hiphop is headed theres no doubt it'll happen.

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

8 Replies, that's it? Shit, 2Pac's fuckin Birthday got like 4 pages of replies. M'ufuckaz is forgetting how much JMJ & Run-DMC did for hip-hop. Shit, those were the first music artists I remember hearing & liking in my life.
