This post on the deathrow forum started the rumour about DARREN VEGAS(some people think Crooked I and Vegas are married or something like that)

"A source close to Death Row has told me that they are thinking about parting ways with Darren Vegas due to high demands from the fans on the official forum. The source also told me Crooked I album is not out yet because they will be redoing all the beats so there will be no Darren Vegas. So Tha Row does listen to the fans. Be on the look out for www.westside2real.com!"

I haven't heard any of this. Vegas I can understand, but not Crooked I. At least from what WE THE FANS see, he might be more Deathrow than Pac was.

Suge likes to ruin careers, like Dre. They both love to hold back artists who could actually do some good for Hip Hop.

Last Emperor, Hittman, Rakim, Crooked I.

I'd hardly say Dre ruins careers.  I don't think any rapperwho has worked with dre would say dre ruined their career.

lets see: snoop dogg and the whole dpg, eminem, 50 cent, ATL, DOC, NWA, D-12, Knoc-Turn'al, Devin, Hittman, Xzibit, and more that I can't think of right now.  All of them were helped somehow by Dre to at least be on the fuckin rap scene.  w/o Dre, their is no hittman.  How can dre ruin his career?  Dre put hittman all over the fuckin 2001 album.  Goddamn, do you know how many rappers would bust a nut to get on 1 song, much less half a fuckin album of Dre's?  Do you know how many more fans Devin has now thanks to Dre?  or how about Xzibit?  Coincidence, once dre doesn't work with dpg at all they start to suck?  Knoc...he better be kissin dre's ass for what Dre has done for him.  It ain't Dre's responsibility to take an artist and then automatically make them platinum selling himself.  Damn imagine if you were an up and comming rapper.  wouldn't you feel like the luckiest person in the world if dre called you and wanted to work with you?  even if your shit didn't get put out, at least dre liked your talent enuff to work with you.  There is a lot of politics in the record business and none of us here know the half of it.  any rapper to ever blame their own misfortune on Dr. Dre is just being a sad sackless crackhead that can't take responsibility for their own actions, and always has to blame someone else.  Anyone should be honored to ever work with dre.  he is a fucking rap legend, look how many classic records he has been a part of.  without dre, there would have been no death row.

If Crooked I leaves, all I gotta say is THANK GOD
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

How long did Dre keep Hittman and Ra on the shelf? Too long. Look at Hittman now. He was hot and he had a chance to blow. But, HIS CEO held him back. Everyone's forgot about him. How many people were dying to hear that Rakim album? Damn near every Hip Hop head. You know how many producers would've died for a chance at putting out Ra? Virtually every producer. But, again HIS CEO held him back. Why? Who knows. We had to wait for a Last Emp album for over 4 years, tell me that's not killing/ruining/holding back his career. Look at King Tee. Dre had him signed, never dropped him, where is Tee now? Trying to pick up the pieces of his career because he sat on the shelf for so long.

BTW, without Snoop, D.O.C. and RBX' lyrics and Suge's money/business sense, there would be no Death Row.

Also, this is about CEO's. Dre wasn't Snoop, DPG, Xzibit, Devin, Knoc, D.O.C., ATL or NWA's CEO. As a CEO Dre has done two good moves. Putting out Eminem and 50. Aside from that he ain't done shit good.

I think both of you got good points there. Any artist would consider it a great honour to be noticed by Dre, true. BUT Dre is so perfectionist that he sometimes waits too long for putting out an album or just stops working with the artist if he doesn't feel he can make their work perfect or at least very good. The artists Dre worked with after NWA can be divided in five groups:

succesful
Snoop
Dogg Pound (more due to Dre teaching Daz to produce)
Eminem
D12
G-Unit

failed, because of lack of buzz or waiting too long
Hittman
Knoc-Turn'al
King T
Last Emperor
Rakim
Truth Hurts
Miss Roq
The Firm
etc.

failed, other reason (Dre leaving DR for example)
RBX
Rage
D.O.C.
Jewell
R.C.
Hands-On
Miscellaneous
Nowl
Group Therapy
etc.

Succesful, but never having made an album with Dre backing them all the time
Eve
Nate Dogg

Not likely to be succesful

Virtually the entire present Aftermath roster.

At least, that's how I see it.
